    摘要: Techniques for fabricating nanowire/microwire-based solar cells are provided. In one, a method for fabricating a solar cell is provided. The method includes the following steps. A doped substrate is provided. A monolayer of spheres is deposited onto the substrate. The spheres include nanospheres, microspheres or a combination thereof. The spheres are trimmed to introduce space between individual spheres in the monolayer. The trimmed spheres are used as a mask to pattern wires in the substrate. The wires include nanowires, microwires or a combination thereof. A doped emitter layer is formed on the patterned wires. A top contact electrode is deposited over the emitter layer. A bottom contact electrode is deposited on a side of the substrate opposite the wires.

    摘要: Techniques for fabricating nanowire/microwire-based solar cells are provided. In one, a method for fabricating a solar cell is provided. The method includes the following steps. The space defined by the receptacle is configured to receive the laboratory ware magazine. The receptacle has at least one aperture dimensioned such that at least one but not all of the apertures of the laboratory ware magazine are registerable with the aperture of the receptacle upon relative rotation of the receptacle and laboratory ware magazine. A laboratory ware magazine has an annular support member defining a space for containing a plurality of items of laboratory ware and a plurality of apertures arranged around a circumference of the annular support member. Each aperture is adapted to receive an item of laboratory ware, and each of the apertures is configured such that an item of laboratory ware placed in the aperture is directed radially inward of the annular support member into the space and is retained in the aperture. Laboratory ware magazines can be stacked to create a plurality of laboratory ware magazines.

    摘要: A venturi receives incoming material through an inlet tube and subjects the material to pulverization. The material, as it undergoes pulverization, is further subject to moisture extraction and drying. An airflow generator, coupled to the venturi, generates a high speed airflow to pull the material through the venturi and into an inlet aperture in the airflow generator. The airflow generator directs the received pulverized material to an outlet where the material may be subsequently separated from the air.

    摘要: A cylindrical casing (12) is disclosed which is of glass reinforced plastic and has an end cap at each end thereof. In the drawing the illustrated end cap is designated 42.2. Each end cap has at least one opening (52) therein through which water can flow. The illustrated end cap 42.2 is held in place by a mounting ring (28) embedded in the wall of the casing and encircling the casing internally. An internal groove (32) extends circumferentially of the mounting ring (28). A first locking ring (34) having a peripherally extending external rib (36) is within the ring 28. The rib (36) is in the groove (32). A second locking ring (38) fits into the locking ring (34) to expand it outwardly and press the rib (36) into the groove (32). Stud holes (40) in the end cap (42.2) and in the locking ring (38), receive studs (44) which secure the locking ring (38) to the end cap (42.2).
