摘要: A technique for remapping data in a storage management system is disclosed. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the technique may be realized as a method for remapping data in a storage management system having backup data that enable restoration of historical data of a storage system. The method may comprise receiving at least one access request for a first set of historical data. The method may also comprise identifying a second set of historical data, wherein the first set of historical data is a subset of the second set of historical data. The method may further comprise identifying, in the storage management system, one or more storage locations containing backup data for the second set of historical data. The method may additionally comprise storing a mapping list of the one or more identified storage locations to facilitate subsequent access requests for any of the second set of historical data.

摘要: A cardiac phantom is provided for simulating a dynamic cardiac ventricle. The phantom comprises two concentrically-disposed, fluid-tight, flexible membranes defining a closed space between the walls of the membranes. A pump is operatively connected to the inner membrane for reciprocally delivering a volume of fluid to the inner membrane to inflate and deflate both membranes in simulating systole and diastole of a heart. A medium is disposed within the closed space defined between the walls of the membranes for maintaining a uniform distance between the walls of the membranes during inflation and deflation. The phantom is provided for evaluation of medical imaging systems. A method, computer system and a computer-readable medium are also provided for controlling the phantom.

摘要: A technique for improving scalability and portability of a storage management system is disclosed. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the technique may be realized as a storage management system operatively coupled to a storage system. The storage management system may comprise a plurality of processor modules, wherein each processor module is capable of intercepting write commands directed to the storage system, backing up data associated with the write commands, and generating metadata having timestamps for the backup data. The storage management system may also comprise one or more indexing modules that create one or more indexing tables for the backup data based on the metadata, wherein the one or more indexing modules are in communication with the processor modules and the storage system.

摘要: A technique for timeline compression in a data store is disclosed. In one particular exemplary embodiment, the technique may be realized as a method for timeline compression in a storage system, wherein digital content of the storage system is backed up to enable restoration of the digital content to one or more points in a timeline. The method may comprise selecting a time interval in the timeline. The method may also comprise identifying one or more sets of backup data recorded for the selected time interval, wherein the identified one or more sets of backup data represent at least a portion of old data overwritten during the selected time interval. The method may further comprise discarding other backup data recorded for the selected time interval, thereby reducing a granularity level of the timeline in the selected time interval.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a laser welding system having a travel path to carry a first blank and a second blank. An upstream clamp assembly and a downstream clamp assembly are positioned on the travel path and each of the upstream and downstream clamp assemblies are movable to an open position to allow the first blank to pass through the upstream clamp assembly to a first location within the downstream clamp assembly. A laser welding source is directed at a weld location on the travel path between the upstream and downstream clamp assemblies. At least one locating means is operable to locate the first weld edge adjacent the weld location. A first displacement means displaces the first weld edge against the locating means. The downstream clamp assembly is movable from the open position to a closed clamped position to clamp the first blank with the first weld edge adjacent the weld location. The locating means is operable to be withdrawn from the travel path. The upstream clamp assembly is movable from the open position to an intermediate position, which is selected to guide the second blank to pass through the upstream clamp assembly in a substantially coplanar relationship with the first blank so that the second weld edge makes contact with, but not past, the first weld edge. A second displacement means displaces the second blank to a location adjacent the weld location where the second weld edge abuts the first weld edge. The upstream clamp assembly is movable from the intermediate position to a closed clamped position to clamp the second blank and the the laser welding source is operable to fuse the first and second weld edges blanks together.
