Abstract:
A styrenic monomer-diolefin copolymer comprises polystyrenic monomer micro-blocks and polydiolefin micro-blocks, in which the content of styrenic monomer units is 10-80 wt %, the ratio of diolefin units of 1,2-structure is less than 30% in the total diolefin units, and the number-average molecular weight (Mn) of the copolymer is 25,000-500,000. The preparation methods and uses in foam products thereof are also disclosed.

Abstract:
High-stability, self-protecting particles encapsulated by a thin film of a catalytically active noble metal are described. The particles are preferably nanoparticles comprising a passivating element having at least one metal selected from the group consisting of columns IVB, VB, VIB, and VIIB of the periodic table. The nanoparticle is preferably encapsulated by a Pt shell and may be either a nanoparticle alloy or a core-shell nanoparticle. The nanoparticle alloys preferably have a core comprised of a passivating component alloyed with at least one other transition metal. The core-shell nanoparticles comprise a core of a non-noble metal surrounded by a shell of a noble metal. The material constituting the core, shell, or both the core and shell may be alloyed with one or more passivating elements. The self-protecting particles are ideal for use in corrosive environments where they exhibit improved stability compared to conventional electrocatalyst particles.
Abstract:
Carbon-nanotube arrays, yarns, films and composites, and the methods for preparing the same are provided. The substrate used is non-flat and has a radius of curvature of at least about 10 μm. The length of the carbon-nanotube yarns and films is at least about 1 cm. The method for preparing the carbon-nanotube composites includes the step of contacting a carbon-nanotube yarn or film with a polymer.
Abstract:
A seven-color light emitting module and a seven-color decorating lamp string comprising the same. The seven-color light emitting module includes a lampshade made of a transparent plastic or synthetic resin, and a lamp socket on which three colors self-flashing light emitting diode, a zener diode, a current limiting resistance and a double-side printed circuit board (PCB) are sealed. The three colors light emitting diodes connect with PCB and connect with the zener diode in parallel. One end of the zener diode or two ends of the zener diode connects with the current limiting resistance in series. A transparent epoxy resin or silicon glue is filled in the lampshade. The seven-color decorating lamp string include a power supply plugs, a power supply module which has a PCB and a rectifying and filter circuit connected by wires and a plurality of said seven colors light emitting modules
Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods and devices for noninvasive nonlinear prediction of ictal onset in patients afflicted by neurological disease. In particular, the present invention provides methods and devices for noninvasive nonlinear prediction of seizures in patients afflicted with epilepsy. The devices and methods preferably being based on analysis of two or more electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings, one set of recordings taken from an electrode close to the region of ictal onset, and a second or more set of recordings (e.g., concurrent readings) taken from a region remote from the region of ictal onset.
