摘要: Systems and methods for reducing the cost and time required for diagnosing and fixing electronic devices are provided. A host electronic device may be configured to generate a log of events that it experiences. A help component may access the generated log and analyze the log to detect if the host device has experienced a problem. Data may then be exchanged between the help component and the host device in order to fix the detected problem.

摘要: Disclosed is an optical sensing device, which comprises a light source emitting a light; a beam splitter; an SPR sensor unit comprising a sensing surface; and a detecting mechanism; and a converting unit converting the first beam and the second beam from the optical device into a two-dimensional interference fringe pattern. From the above-mentioned configuration, an extra phase shift of a detection beam in SPR phase measurement is obtained. The differential measurement approach has shown to achieve a sensitivity figure significantly better than the best result that can be obtained from the prior art in the field of the measurement based on an SPR sensor.

摘要: An ultrasound probe for positioning in the vaginal cavity includes a phased array of transducer elements at one end thereof oriented at an acute angle with respect to the central axis of the probe whereby the imaging field of view is provided by rotating the probe. A biopsy needle assembly snaps onto slots on the probe with a fork and socket fit. A handle on the probe is offset from the central axis of the probe thereby freeing the space around the entrance to the needle guide and facilitating the manipulation by hand of a needle in the guide.

摘要: Neurostimulators for application of transdermal electrical stimulation (TES) and methods of using them for comfortably inducing a cognitive effect. The apparatuses described herein may include hardware, software and/or firmware components that are configured to safely and effectively apply high current intensity (e.g., using a high voltage source). These apparatuses may also include circuitry configured to deliver complex (e.g., ensemble) TES current waveforms that incorporate capacitive discharge current at selected portions of the delivered waveform to enhance user comfort. Methods of operating these devices to reduce capacitance buildup on the user's skin by delivering integrated capacitive discharging currents are also included.
