Abstract:
A popcorn extruder includes a feeder, a popping chamber, a heating device, an unloading device, and a discharge tube. The chamber is a vertical cylindrical barrel. Said heating device and said unloading device are installed on top of the barrel and at the bottom of the barrel, respectively. Said feeder has a discharge end connected with the upper-end side wall of the chamber. Said discharge tube has one end installed at the upper-end side wall of the chamber. Said unloading device has a conical structure. Said conical structure is located in the chamber, and said conical structure has the tapered end facing up. Said heating device includes a fan, an air duct and a heater installed in the air duct; said fan is connected with one end of the air duct; and said air duct has the other end inserted in the chamber and is adjacent to the conical structure.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system for verifying geographical descriptiveness of a media file, such as a picture. The system comprises storage means adapted to store a media file, communication means adapted to send said media file to a plurality of user terminals, and to receive, from the user terminals, data indicating a guessed geographical position with which the user of each user terminal associates the media file. The system also comprises calculation means adapted to determine whether the media file is indicative of a geographical position based on the guessed geographical positions received from the plurality of user terminal.
Abstract:
Content is downloaded to a mobile handheld device (MHD) and buffered on the MHD prior to, and during, viewing. Normal wireless bandwidth varies with atmospheric conditions, distance, obstructions in the path, etc. and hence the speed at which a content-buffer (CB) on the MHD is replenished changes. Because this can result in very low quality viewing experience for the user, the capability for alternate content scheduling provided a micro-splicer is used to enable stored alternate-content or advertisement insertion during periods of low viewing quality, when the CB does not hold sufficient content during the viewing period. This alternate content insertion allows the CB to be refilled before the user resumes content viewing.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a mesoporous composite titanium oxide and a preparation method thereof, wherein the mesoporous composite titanium oxide material is composed of a mesoporous titanium oxide and an inorganic matter is composite on the outside surface and the wall of pores of the mesoporous titanium oxide; said inorganic matter contains at least one element selected from carbon, silicon, sulphur, phosphorus and selenium in an amount of 0.01%-25%, on amount of the element mass, of the mass of said mesoporous composite titanium oxide material; at least one most probable pore diameter of pore distribution of the mesoporous compound titanium oxide material is 3-15 nm, the specific surface area is 50-250 m2/g, and the pore volume is 0.05-0.4 m3/g. As a catalyst carrier, the rate of conversion of the hydrodesulfurization reaction of the material reaches as high as 98 percent, and as a lithium ion battery cathode material, the specific capacity of the lithium ion battery cathode material reaches as high as 220 mAh/g. Moreover, the preparation method of the material is simple, has low cost and is suitable for industrial bulk production.
Abstract:
Targeted advertisements with associated dynamic content for response and feedback embedded into the ad's header are delivered to mobile viewing devices. The mobile viewing device records a user's response to advertisements and reports it back to an ad serving platform. The ad serving platform generates user profiles that incorporate the response data. Ads are further targeted to the user according to the user's profile data to maximize the impact of the ads. The user can select the preferred format for providing advertisement feedback.
