The device can enhance a compression efficiency of the compressor by preventing gas leakage efficiently and reduce a fabricating cost by improving a design of a clearance and enhancing a tolerance limit range.

The oil separation device is integrated with a compressor and includes a first case having a refrigerant inlet into which a refrigerant mixed with oil is sucked and an oil recollecting member through which oil separated from the refrigerant flows, and a second case positioned outside of the first case and having a refrigerant outlet through which refrigerant separated from an oil is discharged. With this constructions, a pipe connecting the compressor and a separate oil separation device is not required, thereby reducing fabrication costs and facilitating installation.

The apparatus for varying the capacity of a scroll compressor includes a bypass passage for connecting a compression pocket under intermediate pressure among compression pockets formed by a wrap of a fixed scroll and a wrap of a orbiting scroll and a suction side through which refrigerant is inhaled into the compression pocket to each other, an opening and closing device for opening and closing the bypass passage, and an elastic opening and closing device mounted in the bypass passage to open and close the bypass passage by the pressure of the compression pocket and the pressure and elasticity of the suction side according as the bypass passage is opened and closed by the opening and closing device. Therefore, it is possible to simplify the structure of varying the capacity of a compressor such that it is possible to reduce the size of the apparatus for varying the capacity of a scroll compressor and to thus reduce the number of parts.

A scroll compressor having a function of preventing an outflow of lubrication oil comprises: a lubrication oil separating net installed at an upper surface of a fixed scroll; a lubrication oil separating plate installed at an upper portion of the lubrication oil separating net; and a refrigerant gas guide member installed outside the lubrication oil separating plate at a certain distance. Accordingly, lubrication oil is effectively prevented from flowing out of the casing through the discharge pipe together with a refrigerant gas when a refrigerant gas is discharged. Thus, the lubrication oil always remains in the casing, thereby reducing abrasion of each component. Thus, performance of each component can be improved, and thus compression performance of the compressor can be improved too.

The compressor includes an orbiting scroll possessing a wrap which has an involute curve-shaped configuration, an Oldham ring arranged on a lower surface of the orbiting scroll to prevent the orbiting scroll from being reversely rotated, and a fixed scroll having a wrap which has an involute curve-shaped configuration and is engaged with the wrap of the orbiting scroll such that compression chambers are defined between the wraps of the orbiting and fixed scrolls by rotating motion of the orbiting scroll. The wrap of the fixed scroll further extends within the range of 180° than the wrap of the orbiting scroll in a direction where an involute curve extends. An oil supply channel may be formed in a fixed scroll of the compressor so as to provide for communication between a back pressure chamber and compression chambers formed between the fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll. The oil supply channel enables oil to be smoothly introduced from the back pressure chamber into each compression chamber, so that frictional losses and refrigerant leakage in the compression chambers may be effectively prevented, and efficiency of the compressor and the refrigerating machine including the compressor may be enhanced.
