    摘要: A seat occupant sensor device for detecting whether or not an occupant is seated on a seat is made up of a pressure sensitive switch including a pair of sensor portions and a connecting portion, with each of the sensor portions being formed as an integration of a pair of opposed films and a spacer. On one of the films is disposed a plurality of spaced first electrodes which are electrically connected to each other by way of a first conductive path, and on the other film is disposed a plurality of spaced second electrodes which are electrically connected to each other by way of a second conductive path. The spacer is disposed between the pair of opposed films in such a manner that each of the first electrodes is maintained separate from the corresponding second electrode when the seat is unoccupied. The first conductive path and the second conductive path extend into the connecting portion, and the connecting portion is positioned, when in its free state, between the pair of the sensor portions. A connector is provided at the distal end of the connecting portion for connecting the first conductive path and the second conductive path to an external control device. A block member is provided at a connecting region at which a proximate end of the connecting portion is connected to each of the sensor portions for guiding the connecting portion reversely.

    摘要: A thermal head serves as a recording head used in a thermal recording apparatus for performing a recording with heat produced by an electric current flowing into a thick-film resistor. Regions having higher resistance than that of the thick-film resistor are disposed in the thick-film resistor and heating portions each corresponding to one dot in the thick-film resistor are controlled by electric current flowing therethrough from one of first electrodes to one of second electrodes provided in the thick-film resistor. A heating control method for such thermal head attains superfine recording and halftone recording and a method produces such a head and a recording apparatus using the head.

    摘要: An impedance matching apparatus adapted to be connected between a reaction chamber and a power source for plasma processing includes a transformer, a coil unit, and a capacitor connected in series. A primary side of the transformer is adapted to be connected to the power source, and a secondary side of the transformer has multiple taps positioned at different windings; and the coil unit is comprised of multiple coils having different inductances and arranged in parallel, wherein each tap is connected to a different coil or coils. The impedance matching circuit further includes a switch unit provided between the coil unit and the capacitor.
