    摘要: In a video conferencing system, required bandwidth is suppressed to a lower level and a key person or the like of a conference can be confirmed easily. A presence server 1 manages location information in a virtual space for a user of each conference terminal 2. Each conference terminal 2 sends image data of its own user to another conference terminal 2 in response to a request of that conference terminal 2. Further, each conference terminal 2 receives location information of its own user in the virtual space, sends the received location information to the presence server 1, and receives location information of the other users from the presence server 1. Then, based on the location information of its own user and the location information of the other users, the conference terminal 2 detects forward users located forward from its own user, and receives image data from the conference terminal 2 of each of the forward users.

    摘要: Every router in a network is provided with flow detecting means that detects a flow from a packet header of a packet so as to perform such packet processings as bandwidth monitoring, priority-based transferring, statistical information collecting with respect to each packet flow. Receiving a packet from a site, an edge router detects the packet flow and writes a flow identifier in the packet. Each flow identifier is uniquely decided in the network. The Internet router performs such packet processings as bandwidth monitoring, priority-based transferring, statistical information collecting with respect to each flow according to the flow identifier. The present invention can thus prevent the network from degradation of transferring performance caused by the flow detecting means of a backbone router.

    摘要: The problem to be solved is, when printing a 3D object by using a 3D printer of fused-deposition-modeling type or another type, to enable printing it even when the filament is not supported from underneath by avoiding filament drop by generating force to push the extruded filament to the neighbor filament, and to enable arraying the filaments to a horizontal direction.To avoid filament drop, force that pushes the newly extruded filament to the neighboring filament is generated, and filament drop is avoided. To do so, compression or extension power is generated by controlling the filament cross section by controlling the filament cross-section (i.e., the extrusion amount) and stiffness of the filament is controlled by controlling the temperature or light.

    摘要: In cooperation between each data center and a WAN, virtual machine migration is carried out without interruption in processing so as to enable effective power-saving implementation, load distribution, or fault countermeasure processing. Each node located at a boundary point between the WAN and another network is provided with a network address translation (NAT) function that can be set dynamically to avoid address duplication due to virtual machine migration. Alternatively, each node included in the WAN is provided with a network virtualization function; and there are implemented a virtual network connected to a data center for including a virtual machine before migration, and a virtual network connected to a data center for including the virtual machine after migration, thereby allowing coexistent provision of identical addresses. Thus, the need for changing network routing information at the time of virtual machine migration can be eliminated, and a setting change for migration accomplished quickly.
