摘要: The present invention relates to a kit holding adapter (X1) for holding an analyzer (4) for analyzing a target analyte in a sample together with a sampling tool (5) used for taking a sample. The kit holding adapter (X1) includes a first holding portion (1) for holding the analyzer (4) and a second holding portion (2) for holding the sampling tool (5), for example. At least one of the first and second holding portions (1, 2) is preferably designed to expose a part of the analyzer (4) or the sampling tool (5) for performing the analysis of the sample with the analyzer (4) or for performing the sampling with the sampling tool (5) while the analyzer (4) or the sampling tool (5) are held by the adapter. The kit holding adapter (X1) may further include an article holding portion (3) for containing articles (45) used for at least one of the analyzer (4) and the sampling tool (5), or other articles used in conjunction with the analysis of the sample or the sampling.

摘要: The present invention relates to a blood sugar level control system equipped with an insulin dispensing device 2 and a blood sugar measuring device 3. An attachment mechanism 4 is provided which serves to couple the insulin dispensing device 2 and said blood sugar measuring device 3 in a relatively movable manner. Preferably, the attachment mechanism 4 is constructed so that the blood sugar measuring device 3 is movable or slidable with respect to the insulin dispensing device 2. A blood sugar level control system can be provided which includes a blood sugar measuring device and an insulin dispensing device without using an adapter. Accordingly, it is possible to avoid a cost rise due to an increase in the number of parts as required. In addition, it is possible to prevent the blood sugar level control system from being unable to be used due to the loss of an adapter in the form of a different part.

摘要: The invention provides a lancing apparatus for moving a lancet holder (32) retaining a lancet in a lancing direction (N1) from a standby position to a lancing position together with the lancet so as to cause the lancet to stick into an object. In the lancing apparatus the lancet is inserted into the lancet holder (32) in a retreating direction (N2), thus to be retained by the lancet holder. The lancet holder (32) includes a first member and a second member (33, 34) relatively movable with respect to each other, so that the first and the second members (33), (34) are relatively moved so as to fix the lancet. Preferably, the lancet holder (32) is constructed such that at least either of the first and the second members (33, 34) applies a pressing force to the lancet, so as to fix the lancet.
