The device also includes a changer configured to change a cost exceeding a threshold to a value higher than the threshold; a synthesizer configured to synthesize a cost of a candidate for a corresponding region for one reference region after the change and a cost of a candidate for a corresponding region for another reference region after the change; and a deriving unit configured to derive a disparity value based on a position of the one reference region and a position of the corresponding region in the comparison image for which the cost after the synthesis is smallest.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a portable terminal provided with a camera to take a picture of a subject comprised of a lens, and an image pickup device. The invention is aimed to provide a portable terminal in which a mirror image or information about photographing status is displayed on a first display which can be seen from the object side when an object is photographed using the portable terminal, and the image is displayed on a second display which can be seen from the to-be-taken subject so that a person to be photographed can easily check his/her image or photographing status. To this end, the first display is provided on the surface on which the lens is provided and the second display is provided on a side different from the side on which the lens is provided. Provision is made of a display unit that displays the image, photographed by directing the lens to the subject, on the first and the second displays.

A laser scanning optical system deflects and scans a plurality of laser beams concurrently with a single polygon mirror to irradiate the photosensitive drums. In a monochromatic mode, the rotation speed of the photosensitive drum for forming a black image is changed higher, and synchronization of writing in a main scanning direction is performed by using one of the laser beams irradiating the other photosensitive drums of which rotation speeds are not changed.

    摘要： A portable terminal reading text, such as predetermined information sent as an electronic mail message, and/or viewable by using a browser in a convenient or user-friendly manner for a visually-impaired user. The portable terminal executes operations including, reading out a first information; reading out a second information; and selectively switching between reading out the first and second information based on information to be read out. Specifically, the DSP is configured to read out a text sentence using a downloaded read-out in voice program. The sound source LSI which possesses a built-in ADPCM (Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation) function is configured to vocally output a depressed numeric key by using a registered vocabulary. The DSP functions as a voice codec during a telephone conversation using a downloaded voice codec program. Thus, the DSP of the portable terminal is a dual-function type having a read-out in voice function and a voice codec function.
