摘要: As provided with a first reading section and a second reading section for reading both surfaces of a document, an image reading apparatus respectively calculates gamma correction values in gamma correcting sections and correction factors in color correcting sections, and corrects colors of criteria images being read by the first reading section and the second reading section in accordance with sample data stored on a storing section in order to substantially match the colors of both criteria images. In addition, the image reading apparatus utilizes an distinctive color range common for the both surfaces which defines a color about a distinguishing pattern, in order to determine whether images of both surfaces contain the distinguishing pattern or not.

摘要: A connecting structure is for a printed wiring board to be electrically connected to a FPC. The FPC includes a substrate and electro-conductive portions. The printed wiring board includes an insertion opening provided on an edge surface thereof, and line connecting terminals formed on an inner wall face of the insertion opening. A dual in-line contact member including first contact members is fixed to the top end portion of the FPC. Each first contact member includes a main body, and a first arm and a second arm extending from the main body generally in parallel to each other. Furthermore, the first arm and the second arm are bent at bent portions so as to form curves protruding away from each other. With the present embodiment, at least one of the first arm and the second arm press the corresponding line connecting terminal provided within the insertion opening at the bent portion thereof by inserting the FPC to the insertion opening of the printed wiring board. Thus, the FPC is connected to the edge surface of the printed wiring board. This improves the freedom from the perspective of design of the wiring pattern as well as allowing mounting of circuit components with high circuit density.

摘要: An image processing device includes a scanner, which reads a plurality of images and inputs them as multivalue digital image data; a matching data producing section which, based on the inputted multivalue image data, produces matching data for joining the respective inputted images; a post-processing section, which binarizes the image data of each image inputted by the scanner; a joining section, which synthesizes the respective inputted images into a single image by joining the binary data produced by the post-processing section, which corresponds to the image data of the respective inputted images, on the basis of the matching data produced by the matching data producing section; and a printer for outputting the image joined by the joining section. Thus an image processing device can be provided which is capable of joining any type of image, whether from written characters, halftone dot, or photographic originals, and of performing this joining processing at high speed.

摘要: In an image processing method, an image is read by an image processing apparatus such as a digital copying machine and the read image is divided into blocks composed of a plurality of picture elements. Thereafter, interpolation is performed on a target picture element so that the image is scaled. Then, in the above image processing method, region segmentation data, which represent possibilities of characters, photographs and mesh dots of the target picture element of the image, are detected in a region segmentation section of the image processing apparatus, and the interpolated picture element data of the target picture element are computed by a variable scaling section according to an equation in which density of a plurality of adjacent picture elements in the vicinity of the target picture element are inputted. At this time, a weights of the density of each adjacent picture element in the equation is adjusted based upon the result detected by the region segmentation means. As a result, even if characters, photographs and mesh dots coexist in an image read by a scanner, the image is scaled according to the characters, photographs and mesh dots, thereby preventing deterioration in image quality.

摘要: A polishing pad has a polishing layer including a non-foamed polyurethane, wherein the non-foamed polyurethane is a reaction cured body of a polyurethane raw material composition containing an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer obtained by reacting a prepolymer raw material composition containing a diisocyanate, a high-molecular-weight polyol and a low-molecular-weight polyol; an isocyanate modified body polymerized by adding three or more diisocyanates; and a chain extender, and the addition amount of the isocyanate-modified body is 5 to 30 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the isocyanate-terminated prepolymer. The polishing pad hardly causes scratches on the surface of an object to be polished and has an improved dressing property.
