    摘要： An apparatus and method for locking a tray to prevent a tray from being broken by an abnormal operation are provided. The tray-locking apparatus for a disc drive comprising a motor, a power supply unit, and a control unit. The motor is driven to move the tray into or out of the disc drive. The power supply unit supplies power supply to the motor. The control unit controls the power supply unit to cut off the power supply supplied to the motor, if a tray-locking command is input. The tray can be prevented from being opened and broken by carelessness of a user. Further, a current consumption of the disc drive is reducable by cutting off the power supply supplied to the loading motor.

    摘要： Provided are an apparatus and method thereof for displaying video signals on a display screen of a display apparatus, wherein the video signals are received by the display apparatus from a plurality of input sources. The method includes: determining whether a medium input from a first input source of the display apparatus is in a loading process; if the medium is in the loading process, displaying in a sub-window on the display screen a video signal output from the first input source of the display apparatus; if the medium is in the loading process, displaying in a main window on the display screen a video signal output from a second input source of the display apparatus. The video signal from the first input source may be downscaled and transmitted to the display device so as to conserve resources in both the first input source and the display device.

It is determined whether a display mode of a display device is a Two-Dimensional (2D) mode or a Three-Dimensional (3D) mode. When the display mode of the display device is the 3D mode and a 2D On Screen Display (OSD) image is to be overlaid on an image being displayed on the display device, the display mode of the display device is switched to the 2D mode so that an image mixed with the 2D OSD image is displayed as a 2D image.
