摘要: A pin definition layout of electronic paper display screen is provided. The electronic paper has a first pin area, a data signal source driver area, and a second pin area sequentially disposed at any side thereof. The first pin area and the second pin area each have a first power supply pin set and a second power supply pin set disposed thereon, and a plurality of No connections is disposed by intervals in the first power supply pin set and the second power supply pin set, so as to separate potential pins. Therefore, no interference is generated between the pins, thus achieving good electrical properties and reducing the wire complexity.

摘要: An E-ink display and method for repairing the same is provided. The method is for repairing a thin film transistor array substrate of the E-ink display. The thin film transistor array substrate having a plurality of pixel units is provided initially. Each of the pixel unit includes a thin film transistor and a pixel electrode. The thin film transistor has a gate electrode, a source electrode and a drain electrode. The gate electrode, the source electrode and the drain electrode are connected electrically to a scan line, a data line and the pixel electrode respectively. A portion of the pixel electrode is located above the scan line. Next, a repairing portion is formed at the space between the scan line and the pixel electrode. The repairing portion is utilized to electrically connect the pixel electrode and the scan line.

摘要: A display electrode structure and the repairing method thereof are described. The display electrode structure includes a display electrode and at least one opening formed on the display electrode and extending toward the inside of the display electrode so as to easily repair a display electrode defect thereon. The display electrode repairing method uses a laser beam to cut a display electrode from the opening and along the metal line to separate the display electrode from an adjacent display electrode so as to remove a short circuit between the display electrode and the adjacent display electrode.

摘要: An electronic-ink display apparatus is provided. The electronic-ink display apparatus includes a thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate, an electronic-ink layer, a common electrode, a second substrate and an edge sealant. The TFT array substrate includes a first substrate and a dielectric layer located above the first substrate. The electronic-ink layer, common electrode and second substrate are located above TFT array substrate in sequence. The edge sealant surrounds the electronic-ink layer and at least one part of the edge sealant is not overlaid above the dielectric layer.

In the E-ink display panel, a dielectric layer having a thickness of 1˜4 μm is disposed on bottom-gate thin film transistors to prevent the pixel electrodes from being interfered by noise generated by the bottom-gate thin film transistors, the scan lines and the data lines. Therefore, the display quality of the E-ink display panel is improved.

摘要: An E-ink display panel including a substrate, display pixels, dummy pixels, a display medium and a common electrode is provided. The display pixels are disposed on the substrate and arranged in a matrix for defining a display region. The dummy pixels are disposed on the substrate and adjacent to the display pixels. The display medium is disposed over the display pixels and the dummy pixels. The common electrode is disposed on the display medium. The display medium above the display pixels is driven by the bias voltage between the display pixel and the common electrode such that an image is displayed by the display medium, and display state of the display medium above the dummy pixels is not affected by the bias voltage between the dummy pixel and the common electrode. The dummy pixels are adapted for preventing the display pixels from being damaged directly due to an ESD.
