    摘要: Provided is a laser light source apparatus capable of maintaining a favorable level of laser output and inhibiting a margin for optical axis adjustment required for other optical elements. The present invention includes: a semiconductor laser emitting excitation laser light; a laser medium excited by the excitation laser light and emitting infrared laser light; a wavelength conversion element converting a wavelength of the infrared laser light and emitting harmonic laser light; a concave mirror having a concave surface opposing the conversion element; and a mirror supporter supporting the concave mirror. The mirror supporter has a mouth that transmits laser light from the conversion element toward the concave mirror, and a contacting surface orthogonally intersecting an optical axis of the laser light from the conversion element and contacting the concave surface side of the concave mirror.

    摘要: An image display apparatus having a case supporting laser light source apparatuses emitting laser light of green color, red color, and blue color, a projection optical system; and a cooler that cools the laser light source apparatuses. The case includes: a front wall to which the blue color laser light source apparatus is mounted and a projection outlet of the projection optical system is provided; and a side wall that is connected to the front wall and to which the red color laser light source apparatus and the green color laser light source apparatus are mounted. The cooler is provided on the side wall side. The image display apparatus further includes dichroic mirrors guiding the laser light of respective colors to the projection optical system side. Either of the dichroic mirrors reflects laser light having a wavelength shorter than or equal to the wavelength of the green color laser light.

    摘要: In order to reduce manufacturing cost of a base supporting a semiconductor laser, without deteriorating accuracy of mounting of the semiconductor laser, a mounting member is provided between the base supporting the semiconductor laser and the semiconductor laser; and the semiconductor laser and the base are fixedly attached with heat-cured silver paste. The silver paste has a lower curing temperature than an assurance temperature of the semiconductor laser, and a higher heat resistance than an operation temperature of the semiconductor laser. The mounting member is formed of a material having a higher heat resistance than the curing temperature of the silver paste.

    摘要: In a laser light source apparatus using a wavelength converting device (35), the position and angle of the wavelength converting device are allowed to be varied so as to maximize the laser output. The angular adjustment of the wavelength converting device is simplified by accurately positioning the wavelength converting device. A holder (57) for retaining the wavelength converting device may be supported by a support portion (56) formed in a base (38) so as to be moveable in the depthwise direction of the poled inverted domain regions and tiltable with respect to the optical path. Preferably, the holder may be rotatable around an axial line substantially perpendicular to the optical axial line. In particular, the wavelength converting device may be fixedly attached to the holder so as to bring an exit surface (35b) of the wavelength converting device in close contact with a mounting reference surface (841) by using a bonding agent applied to a top surface (35e) and a bottom surface (35f) of the wavelength converting device adjacent to the exit surface, and a bottom surface (207) of a recess (891) formed in the holder adjacent to and in parallel with the mounting reference surface.
