    摘要: A gas meter device of the present invention includes an inlet into which a fluid flows, and an outlet from which the fluid flows out, and is configured to derive a flow value of the fluid flowing from the inlet to the outlet. The gas meter device comprises plural measurement fluid passages provided in parallel between the inlet and the outlet; flow value measuring units provided in the plural measurement fluid passages, respectively, and configured to independently measure flow values of fluids flowing through the measurement fluid passages, respectively; an average flow value calculation unit configured to derive an average flow value of the flow values measured by the flow value measuring units, respectively; and a flow value comparison unit configured to obtain index values indicating a relation between the average flow value derived by the average flow value calculation unit and the flow values measured by the flow value measuring units, and determine whether or not each of the index values is equal to or larger than a predetermined value. Thereby, the present invention can determine whether or not there is an erroneous measurement flow value from only the separate flow values independently measured in the measurement fluid passages, respectively.

    摘要: An air-fuel mixture generating device includes a main body equipped with a diaphragm-type fuel pump, a fuel injection valve attached to the main body, and a manual fuel pump attached to the main body for filling a fuel passageway with fuel when the diaphragm-type fuel pump is not operating. The manual fuel pump has an inlet port which communicates with the fuel passageway and a pressure-adjusting valve disposed at the inlet port of the manual fuel pump, thereby enabling it to act not only as an intake valve when the manual fuel pump is operated but also as a relief valve for allowing the fuel inside the fuel passageway to escape into a pump chamber of the manual fuel pump when the pressure of fuel inside the fuel passageway exceeds a predetermined pressure.

    摘要: Clock skew is minimized in an ASIC by grid-partitioning the IC chip into a number of preferably equal sized regions. An on-chip clock or buffer unit provides a clock signal to be distributed to buffers and clocked loads also on the IC. Equal length metal interconnect traces are formed in a preferably "H"-shaped configuration such that the termini and the center of the traces overlie buffer regions that will receive the distributed clock signal. Metallization interconnect paths are dictated by placement of joiner cells. By making each metal interconnect trace equal in overall length and in layer sub-lengths (if multiple metallization layers are present), clock skew along the interconnect traces is minimized macroscopically. A series of prioritized net lists is generated, defining interconnect paths to each region. A buffer is centrally located within each region, and is surrounded by a ring containing clocked loads to be coupled to the clock signal. The ring-shape causes the clocked loads to be substantially electrically equidistant from the associated region buffer, which minimizes skew microscopically. An updated series of netlists and a clocked load preplacement batch command file are generated, defining the clocked load connections. Placement and routing of the buffers, the clocked loads and then the remainder of the ASIC is accomplished using a conventional placement and router system. The invention may also be practiced to reduce skew in designing printed circuit boards.

    摘要: A muffler for an internal combustion engine has a vertically elongated expansion chamber into which an exhaust gas from the exhaust port of internal combustion engine is introduced. The expansion chamber is separated level-wise into a first expansion chamber and a second expansion chamber by a partition plate. An exhaust emission purifier formed of an oxidation catalyst is attached to the partition plate, thereby allowing the exhaust gas ejected from the exhaust port to be introduced into the second expansion chamber from the first expansion chamber via the exhaust emission purifier. The exhaust emission purifier is spaced apart from the exhaust port by a predetermined distance in a direction orthogonal to an ejecting direction of the exhaust gas.
