摘要: A fuel injection device for smooth discharge of a gas accumulated therein comprising a fuel pump, a solenoid valve for injecting pressurized fuel into the intake passage of an engine, a high-pressure fuel passage extending from the fuel pump to the solenoid valve and has a medially positioned constant-pressure chamber, and a fuel return passage connected to a fuel return pipe, with the fuel return passage extending from the constant-pressure chamber and having a medially positioned priming pump. The constant-pressure chamber is configured with the top wall in the upper space thereof disposed above the opening of the high-pressure fuel passage opposite the solenoid valve, the fuel return passage opens into the upper space at a position above the opening of the high-pressure fuel passage, and the gas accumulating in the constant-pressure chamber is discharged from the upper space toward the fuel tank via the fuel return passage.

摘要: A high pressure pump of a common rail pump system includes a pump body having a cylinder with a piston bore and a piston reciprocally driven in the piston bore to pressurize fuel in the cylinder. The piston has an inner end located in the piston bore and an outer end outside the piston bore. A bellow having a first opening and a second opening is arranged between the piston and the pump body, wherein the piston extends through the first and second openings, wherein the bellow is connected to the pump body such that the first opening is sealed on the pump body and wherein the bellow is connected to the outer end of the piston such that the second opening is sealed on the piston. This arrangement prevents mixing of engine oil and fuel. The bellow may be connected to a drainage line via a one-way valve.

摘要: A two stroke combustion engine, equipped with fuel injection apparatus and ignition timing controlled by throttle position, has a charge forming device which delivers a rich fuel mixture from an integral float-type fuel chamber. The fuel injection apparatus typically comprises a tuned injector tube that communicates between a crankcase injector port and a cylinder injector port. The vast majority of fuel mixes with air in an injector mixing passage of the charge forming device where it is subsequently delivered to the tuned injector tube which directly injects the rich fuel mixture into a cylinder of the engine. The rich fuel mixture supplied by the charge forming device injects into the combustion chamber through the cylinder injector port via a reflected pressure wave generated from the previous combustion cycle. A primary air circuit of the charge forming device delivers a substantially lean mixture of fuel-and-air into the crankcase at high engine speeds where it flows from the crankcase through an air feed passage and into the combustion chamber. At idle and low speed engine conditions where throttle position is less than fifty percent open, ignition timing is predominately used to control engine operation. This feature simplifies design and calibration of the charge forming device while improving engine performance at extremely low fuel demands and load conditions.

摘要: A fuel injection system for a two-stroke small engine has a charge forming device with an injector mixing passage which forms a rich fuel and air mixture supplied to a tuned injector tube connected adjacent one end through a port to the engine cylinder and adjacent the other end to the engine crankcase. The charge forming device has a high speed fuel circuit which supplies at least a majority of the fuel to the mixing passage under wide open throttle operating conditions and preferably a minor portion of the fuel is also supplied by an idle fuel circuit which under engine idle conditions preferably supplies essentially all of the fuel to the engine. A separate inlet air flow passage of the charge forming device also supplies primarily air to the crankcase of the engine for transfer to the cylinder. Under engine wide open throttle conditions, preferably a very minor quantity of fuel with oil therein is supplied through the inlet air flow passage to the crankcase and transferred to the cylinder to provide lubrication of the moving parts in the crankcase and some cooling of the engine.

摘要: Fuel is supplied stably to the engine for models under severe operational conditions. The magnetic core 34 is inserted in the solenoid coil 32 in the box 31. The movable valve body 38 is provided in the box 31. The valve body 38 is pressed by the plate spring 44 so as to close the fuel injection opening 37. The check valve 24 is provided on the fuel feeding passage 48. The diaphragm partitions between the air pressure supply passage 25 and the internal of the box 31. The pulsatory air pressure of about 20 to 100 kPa generated in the crank chamber is applied to the fuel in the box 31 through the diaphragm 26. Fuel is introduced into the fuel injector without pressurization and confined by the check valve, and the fuel is pressurized using air which is not affected very much by the force due to acceleration. The air pipe 27 is fixed to the valve body 38 and diaphragm 26, and communicates between the air pressure supply passage 25 and fuel injection opening 37. The fuel introduced into the fuel injector 30 is confined by the check valve 24, and is pressurized with the pulsatory air pressure from the crank chamber at a constant pressure. When injection, air is injected and injected fuel changes to mist. The supply of fuel is stable even under severe operational conditions, the combustion efficiency is improved, and the output of the engine is increased.
