摘要: A muffler for an internal combustion engine has a vertically elongated expansion chamber into which an exhaust gas from the exhaust port of internal combustion engine is introduced. The expansion chamber is separated level-wise into a first expansion chamber and a second expansion chamber by a partition plate. An exhaust emission purifier formed of an oxidation catalyst is attached to the partition plate, thereby allowing the exhaust gas ejected from the exhaust port to be introduced into the second expansion chamber from the first expansion chamber via the exhaust emission purifier. The exhaust emission purifier is spaced apart from the exhaust port by a predetermined distance in a direction orthogonal to an ejecting direction of the exhaust gas.

Each of the at least one hydraulic-pressure control valve group includes (a) at least one ON/OFF control valve and (b) at least one linear control valve that are disposed in parallel with each other.

摘要: A brake system includes: (a) a first brake device including a first actuator and a first brake that utilizes an output of the first actuator; (b) a second brake device including a second actuator and a second brake that utilizes an output of the second actuator; (c) a regenerative-electric-energy obtaining device configured to obtain a regenerative electric energy that is returned to a power source device; and (d) an actuator control device configured to reduce a total consumed electric energy, by controlling the first actuator and/or the second actuator in a manner that maintains a state in which a required braking force is satisfied by a braking force of the first brake and/or a braking force of the second brake, such that the total consumed electric energy is made smaller when a regenerative electric energy is small, than when the regenerative electric energy is large.

摘要: A liquid propellant tank for storing a liquid propellant A and supplying vapor produced by evaporation of part of the liquid propellant A to an external location comprises a tank body for storing the liquid propellant A, and a plurality of holder plates arranged inside the tank body, around an axis L of the tank body. The holder plates cause the liquid propellant A to adhere to them by surface tension, thereby establishing, inside the tank body, a liquid propellant holding area LA in which the liquid propellant A is held and a gas accumulation area GA in which vapor produced by evaporation of part of the liquid propellant A accumulates. The tank body has a propellant inlet open into the liquid propellant holding area LA and a gas outlet open into the gas accumulation area GA.

摘要: In a brake control system (10), a reservoir switch (60) detects a decrease in the amount of hydraulic fluid in a reservoir tank (26). An ECU (100) switches a master cutoff valve (22), a pressure increase valve (40), and a pressure decrease valve (42) and the like between open and closed. When a decrease in the amount of hydraulic fluid in the reservoir tank (26) is detected, the ECU (100) opens the master cutoff valve (22) to supply hydraulic fluid from a right front-wheel wheel cylinder (20FR) and a left front-wheel wheel cylinder (20FL) to a master cylinder (14), when release of a brake pedal (12) is detected.
