Abstract: An electrochemical cell pack includes a housing having an interior space; a plurality of electrochemical cells disposed within the interior space; a thermal management fluid disposed within the interior space such that the electrochemical cell is in thermal communication with the thermal management fluid; and one or more space fillers disposed with the interior volume and in direct contact with the thermal management fluid. The space fillers have a density that is less than the density of the thermal management fluid.
