摘要: The present disclosure relates to segmented transfer tapes useful in the transfer of only a portion of the segments of the transfer tapes and methods of making thereof. The segmented transfer tapes include a removable template layer having a structured surface; a transfer layer comprising a backfill layer, wherein the backfill layer has a structured first major surface, and an adhesive layer; at least one transferable segment formed in the transfer layer; at least one non-transferable segment formed in the transfer layer, the at least one non-transferable segment includes an adhesive surface, wherein a passivating layer is disposed on at least a portion of the adhesive surface of the at least one non-transferrable segment; and at least one kerf extending from the first major surface of the adhesive layer and into at least a portion of the removable template layer. The present disclosure also provides micro-optical assemblies and methods of making micro-optical assemblies from the segmented transfer tapes.

摘要: An automated roll to roll method of making a fuel cell roll good subassembly is described wherein an elongated first subgasket web having a plurality of apertures is moved relative to a plurality of individual electrolyte membranes, each individual electrolyte membrane having a center region. The individual electrolyte membranes are aligned with the first subgasket web so that a center region of each electrolyte membrane is aligned with an aperture of the first subgasket web and the individual electrolyte membranes are attached to the first subgasket web.

摘要: The disclosed medical dressing includes multiple adhesives. A first adhesive can strongly secure to the medical device, while a gentle adhesive secures to skin. Therefore, the medical device is secure, while the skin is in contact with a gentle adhesive. Selection of the adhesive, as well as the positioning of the adhesive on the medical dressing disclosed result in a medical dressing that effectively secures a medical device to a patient, while gently securing to skin.

Laterally arranged die cutting members and fiducial-making members are provided onto a roller to respectively cut a first pattern and a fiducial mark on the same side of a web in a rotatory die cutting process. The fiducial mark is used to register a second pattern provided by a downstream station to the first pattern.

摘要: A microbial detection device and methods of use are provided. The device comprises a water-proof pouch that includes a first wall portion, a second wall portion, and a porous membrane filter disposed in the pouch between the first and second wall portions. The filter membrane divides the pouch into first and second compartments. A dry, cold water-soluble gelling agent is adhered to the pouch in the first compartment and an absorbent pad is disposed in the second compartment. A release liner removably adhered to the first adhesive layer.

The flap can include a fixed end (120) coupled to the dressing body, and a free end (122) movable with respect to the dressing body between a first position and a second position in which the free end is positioned in overlapping relationship with the dressing body. A second major surface (116) of at least the free end of the flap can be configured to be secured to the dressing body, and the flap can be located toward a proximal end of the dressing body, such that a distal portion of the dressing body is free of the flap. The dressing body can be adhered to skin with a skin-contact adhesive (e.g., a silicone adhesive) (115), and the flap can be secured to the dressing body with a securing adhesive (e.g. an acrylate adhesive) (117) that can have a higher adhesion or adhesive strength.
