Abstract: A multilayer optical adhesive including a first viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer and a second viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer. A crosslinked or soluble resin layer may be disposed between the first viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer and the second viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer or the first viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer may be immediately adjacent to the second viscoelastic or elastomeric adhesive layer. An interface between immediately adjacent layers is structured and there is a difference in refractive indices across the interface.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a compact spotlight that can change the area which it illuminates. The spotlight incorporates a wide angle light source, a catadioptric lens, and a bearing system for moving the catadioptric lens, the light source, or both. Movement of the light source relative to the catadioptric lens along the optical axis can change the beam diameter of the spotlight, while providing an acceptable illumination pattern.

Abstract: Window glass having sun-facing daylight redirecting optical structures with an embedded surface diffuser patterned on them. The optical structures are generally linear and formed from a repeating unit cell. Each unit cell has a base, two or more peaks opposite the base, and at least one curved side between the base and the peaks. The other sides between the base and the peaks can be substantially straight, curved, or a series of facets approximating a curve.
