An exemplary voltage sensor device includes at least one high voltage segment and at least one low voltage impedance element. In order to enhance the power dissipation due to impedances spread inside of the device body, the sensor device can be adapted or extended such that at least one high voltage segment, and at least one low voltage impedance element are arranged on an elongated insulating support with adaptive complementary mechanical and electrical interconnection elements on at least one end of the support element. The mechanical and electrical interconnection elements provide a manner of interconnecting at least two elongated insulating supports together in a pivotable way.

A voltage and/or current sensing device for low-, medium- or high voltage switching devices is disclosed as a constructively enhanced measuring device with high performance for use in switching devices. The sensing device can include a first voltage sensing part, a second voltage sensing part and a current sensing part all arranged in a same common single housing separated, from the switching device, in a way that an output wire from the first voltage sensing part, for sensing voltage at an upper terminal of the switching device, is located close to the current sensing part, the output wire being applied with an insulating cover, and mechanically fixed to the current sensor part, and/or the output wire being implemented in an isolation body, and only located near to the current sensing part.
Abstract:
An impedance matching element is disclosed which can be used for voltage and/or current sensing or indicating devices used in medium voltage systems in order to improve signal integrity of output signals in comparison with known sensing devices. To enhance sensing accuracy and provide higher output signal immunity against interferences and impedance mismatches, the electric field sensor and/or the magnetic field sensor can be connected to the impedance matching element which allows connection to an independent analogue measuring device and is powered from an energy harvester, with an impedance matching electronic board.

A voltage sensor is disclosed for high and medium voltage use, wherein a voltage divider is arranged in a housing with external creepage distance enlarging ribs. To implement structures for creepage path enlargement to a sensor housing in a very effective and easy way, the voltage divider is arranged in a housing or in housing modules which is or are covered at least partly by at least one shrinking tube of insulating material such that the shrinking creepage enlarging structures are implemented at least at outer surface of the shrinking tube.

A medium or high voltage arrangement with a cable connection terminal and a voltage sensor is disclosed, wherein the voltage sensor has a resistive voltage divider and shielding electrodes. In order to enhance the accuracy of voltage measurement at medium or high voltage pole parts, the voltage sensor can be applied as a voltage sensor module, which can be integrated in a further cable connection terminal, and the shielding electrodes can be an integral part of the voltage sensor module or an integral part of an insulating housing part of the further cable connection terminal.

A voltage measurement device includes an insulating body, for the use in medium- or high-voltage equipment or switchgears The insulating body includes an impedance divider having at least one high voltage impedance and at least one low voltage impedance in series, and with shielding electrodes. In order to optimize the circuit design for voltage measurement design in a given application and prevent the risk of malfunction when the same device it is used in multiple applications or at severe environmental or operating conditions, the device includes at least one high-voltage shielding electrode and/or at least one low-voltage shielding electrode which dimensions together establish a physical length of the impedance divider. The shielding electrodes surround the high and/or low voltage impedances, which provide a specified voltage division ratio and which are located inside or outside of the insulating body. An output of the impedance divider is connected to a shielded cable.
