Abstract: A hydraulic pressure braking force generation device is provided with a first control unit for performing control for inhibiting excessive responses in which the input pressure is controlled such that the output pressure is within a first region set using a braking target oil pressure as a reference, a second control unit for performing control for responsiveness in which the increase speed or decrease speed of the input pressure is increased so as to be larger than that in the control for inhibiting excessive responses, to cancel response delay and a switching unit which, on the basis of the state of the braking target oil pressure, switches between the control for inhibiting excessive responses performed by the first control unit and the control for responsiveness performed by the second control unit.

Abstract: Vibrations of a hydraulic pressure in an upstream portion due to operations of a slip control device during anti-lock control are transmitted to a control pressure chamber via a pressurizing piston of a master cylinder and a control piston of a regulator. During anti-lock control, in contrast, a pressure-increase linear valve and a pressure-reduction linear valve are opened, allowing change in volume of the control pressure chamber, resulting in reduction in stiffness. This reduction suppresses vibrations of a hydraulic pressure in the control pressure chamber, resulting in suppression of vibrations of a hydraulic pressure in a front pressure chamber. As a result, it is possible to reduce the lowering in control accuracy for a hydraulic pressure in a brake cylinder in anti-lock control using the hydraulic pressure in the front pressure chamber, which can well avoid a long braking distance.

Abstract: A vehicular brake device that implements ESC/TRC control suppresses hydraulic pressure variations produced during open/close control of a brake actuator holding valve or depressurizing valve. Abstract: Taking a stroke within a period from when an operation of a brake operating member is started to when a predetermined stroke operation is performed as an ineffective stroke in which the master cylinder pressure is not generated, a control means controls an amount of differential pressure formed by a differential control valve such that a hydraulic braking force that corresponds to a stroke of the brake operating member is generated during the ineffective stroke, and even after the stroke of the brake operating member exceeds the ineffective stroke, increases the wheel cylinder pressure by performing raising of the amount of differential pressure formed by the differential pressure control valve by a predetermined raising amount with respect to the amount of differential pressure during the ineffective stroke.
