摘要: Driving assistance systems, methods, and programs accept an inputted planned travel route from the route guidance system, provide driving assistance of the vehicle on the planned travel route, based on driving assistance map data, and obtain, when versions of the route guidance map data and the driving assistance map data do not match each other, the driving assistance map data whose version matches the version of the route guidance map data from a map provider. Route guidance systems search for a planned travel route based on route guidance map data, provide guidance on the planned travel route, output the planned travel route to the driving assistance system, and obtain, when versions of the route guidance map data and the driving assistance map data do not match each other, the route guidance map data whose version matches the version of the driving assistance map data from a map provider.

摘要: A communication terminal is connected to a server and provides movement guidance for a mobile unit based on guidance information delivered from the server. The terminal requests the server for update information for updating area identification information that identifies a section corresponding to an update target area and a section not corresponding to the update target area on a section-by-section basis. The update target area is an area whose terminal-side map information included in the communication terminal is an older version. The terminal updates the area identification information based on the update information transmitted from the server, requests the server for guidance information for providing movement guidance for the mobile unit based on the updated area identification information, and provides the movement guidance for the mobile unit based on the guidance information delivered from the server.

摘要: An analyzer of the invention adequately analyzes a change in road network by using probe information generated with driving of a vehicle. This analyzer determines a traffic amount of vehicles passing through a specified section included in the road network from a plurality of the probe information accumulated over a predetermined period. The analyzer also determines a discontinuity rate, which is a rate of incidents that vehicle locations are discontinuous in the specified section, from the plurality of probe information accumulated over the predetermined period. The analyzer detects a change in the road network, based on a degree of change between traffic amounts in two different periods with respect to the specified section included in the road network and a degree of change between discontinuity rates in the two different periods. The detected change in the road network can be used for survey of the road network.

摘要: A travel time data processor extracts a link that is present in the neighborhood of a target link, as a reference link. The travel time data processor selects an identical time zone of the reference link that is identical with the time zone of the target link in which the number of sample data is less than a reference number, and searches for another time zone having similar statistical data to that of the selected time zone. The travel time data processor adds the number of sample data in a time zone of the target link corresponding to the searched another time zone of the reference link to the number of sample data in the time zone of the target link that is equal to or less than the reference number, and generates statistical data from the summed-up sample data.
