Abstract: A processing system may detect a physical location of a user via at least one mobile computing device of the user, where the user is to be authenticated for a network-based transaction, identify at least one network-connected sensor device at the physical location, and determine, from the at least one network-connected sensor device, a set of environmental conditions of an environment of the physical location. The processing system may next identify at least one action for the user to perform to interact with at least one aspect of the environment in accordance with the set of environmental conditions and transmit an instruction to the user to perform the at least one action. The processing system may then obtain sensor data from the at least one network-connected sensor device, determine, from the sensor data, that the user performed the at least one action, and authenticate the user for the network-based transaction.

Abstract: A processing system deployed in a carrier transport vehicle may establish a wireless communication session with a mobile device of a user, assign a zone of the carrier transport vehicle to the user, the zone including a plurality of network-connected devices, obtain a user profile from the mobile device of the user, determine at least one biometric sensor accessible via the mobile device of the user, obtain biometric data of the user from the at least one biometric sensor accessible via the mobile device of the user, determine a condition of the user based upon the biometric data, identify at least one adjustment to at least one of the plurality of network-connected devices in response to the condition of the user that is determined and the user profile, and apply the at least one adjustment to the at least one of the plurality of network-connected devices.

Abstract: An anonymous location wireless network service for use in a wireless network. The service provides content providers with the location of network users without revealing their identities. The service includes a wireless network having a proxy server, a network communication link to a plurality of web sites, and a wireless communication link to a plurality of handheld devices. The proxy server blocks identity by reading the location and identity information of network devices, generating dummy identifications, relating the dummy identifications to the identity information, storing the relationships in a memory storage, and forwarding the location information and dummy identifications to the global computer network. Upon receiving messages from the global computer network, the proxy server reads the dummy identifications, looks up the related identification information in the memory storage, and forwards the data to the appropriate network devices.

Abstract: A processing system may obtain traveler data comprising location data of devices of a plurality of travelers, the travelers having reservations to travel aboard a vehicle of a transportation service provider from a point of departure at a designated time of readiness and obtain timing data of a queue from a service provider system associated with the queue, where at least one traveler of the travelers is to traverse the queue to arrive at the point of departure. The processing system may then calculate arrival times of the travelers based upon the traveler data and based upon the timing data of the queue, determine that an arrival time of the at least one traveler is after the designated time of readiness, and perform at least one remedial action in response to the determining that the arrival time of the at least one traveler is after the designated time of readiness.
