    摘要： A connection manager (112) of a communication device (103). The connection manager registers with a device driver (109) associated with a network interface (106, 228), which monitors the communication device for network access data from a third party connection manager (118). After detecting network access data, the device driver notifies the connection manager. Depending on one or more policies or user input received from a user interface (115), the connection manager may unregister with the device driver, disable the third party connection manager, or notify the user via the user interface that manual intervention may be required. The connection manager may prevent conflicts between itself and the third party connection manager.

    摘要： A process for providing a print-augmented broadcast signal for transmission to one or more convention broadcast receiver includes receiving a broadcast signal comprising (i) standard content for a particular broadcast program and (ii) a non-content portion. Supplemental content which is associated with the standard content of the particular broadcast program is additionally received. Next, the supplemental content is combined onto the non-content portion of the broadcast signal to form a print-augmented broadcast signal, the print-augmented broadcast signal comprising the standard content, which can be rendered on a conventional broadcast receiver, and the supplemental content, which is printable on-demand at a destination conventional broadcast receiver substantially concurrently with the rendering of the standard content.

    摘要： System and method for providing a telecommunication transmission from an originating device to a terminating device over a telecommunications network. In one embodiment a bit code may be received from the telecommunication network, such that the bit code is extracted from the telecommunication transmission from the originating device. A directory number associated with the originating source may be received and a predefined message may be determined based at least on the directory number and bit code. The predefined message may be displayed on the terminating device.
