Encryption key storage may include associating each of a plurality of identifiers with a different one of a plurality of key fragment stores, determining a plurality of indexes, where each of the plurality of indexes is based upon a handle provided by a customer, an authorization token provided by the customer, and a different one of the plurality of identifiers, partitioning an encryption key provided by the customer into a number of encryption key fragments, and distributing the plurality of indexes and the number of encryption key fragments to the plurality of key fragment stores. The handle can be a uniform resource identifier, for instance.

    摘要: A control system for controlling resource entitlement for a resource compartment in a resource-on-demand system includes nested loops. An inner loop includes an adaptive feedback control system including an adaptive controller operable to automatically determining a gain for the control system. The gain varies depending on a demand of the resource compartment in a previous interval, and the adaptive controller is operable to determine a resource entitlement for the resource compartment for a current interval based on the gain and a target utilization for the current interval. An outer loop includes a feedback control system operable to automatically determine the target utilization for the current interval, wherein the target utilization varies based on at least one QoS metric measured for the previous interval and a QoS metric target.
