The information search system is capable of searching a target content based on meta information provided by a broadcast station, in which a reception device makes an inquiry toward a directory service server based on a meta information reference ID accompanying meta information coming from the broadcast station so that a meta information group is derived for reference by the meta information reference ID. Also, another inquiry is made toward a content service server based on address information or a keyword of the content included in sub meta information in the meta information group so as to perform a search for any desired content.

摘要： A remote control apparatus is disclosed, which radio transmits a control command from a remote controller to a reception apparatus connected to an electronic device which is an apparatus under control. The reception apparatus stores a first identification information which represents a destination remote controller. When the remote controller issues a pairing start command, the remote control apparatus transmits a pairing request containing second identification information of the remote controller itself. The reception apparatus extracts the second identification information from the received pairing request and decides that the remote controller is a pairing party if the first identification information matches the second identification information. The reception apparatus transmits a pairing response containing third identification information of the reception apparatus itself to the remote controller.

摘要： The risk of a third party able to conduct pairing is reduced, and operation is also made simple. In S1 the radio wave strength of a pairing signal received first is measured and retained. In S2 the message “Come a little closer” is displayed. In S4 it is determined from the radio wave strength whether or not the current distance is within a given range with respect to an instructed distance. In S5 it is determined whether or not the number of determinations in which the current distance is determined to be within the given range has reached a set number of determinations. In a second determination the message “Now move away a little” is displayed. If the second determination becomes positive, S6 (pairing registration) is performed.
