摘要: In a grid structure for a color picture tube of the type comprised of a pair of elongated frame elements disposed in substantially parallel, spaced apart relation at the top and bottom, respectively, of the grid structure, a pair of mechanically resilient brace members having mid-portions extending between the frame elements at the opposite sides of the grid structure and end portions affixed to the frame elements for maintaining the latter in their spaced apart relation, and a plurality of grid wires defining slits therebetween extending between the frame elements and being welded or otherwise affixed to the latter adjacent the opposite ends of the grid wires while the grid wires are longitudinally tensioned and the brace members are prestressed by forces acting on the frame elements in the directions to urge the frame elements toward each other; each brace member has a cross-sectional shape, such as, a rectangular shape, providing different section moduli in respect to correspondingly different axes passing through the centroid of the cross-sectional shape, and the mid-portion of each brace member is disposed so that an axis of the cross-sectional shape thereof which passes through the centroid at right angles to the axis about which there is a maximum section modulus is disposed in a plane containing the lines of action of the forces which act on the frame elements at predetermined points adjacent the respective end portions of the frame elements, for example, the points at which forces are applied to the frame elements for prestressing the brace members during the affixing of the grid wires to the frame elements.

摘要: First calculation section calculates, on the basis of sewing data, a sewing-progressing direction angle for rotating a rotary cylinder to orient an embroidering material, guided by a guide lever of a zigzag sewing head, in a sewing-progressing direction. Second calculation section adds or subtracts a zigzag-swinging angle to or from the sewing-progressing direction angle to thereby calculate a target rotational angle of the rotary cylinder. Swinging mechanism may be provided for swinging the guide lever relative to the rotary cylinder, and a swinging amount corresponding to the swinging angle of the rotary cylinder may be added to a width of zigzag-swinging by the swinging mechanism. Alternatively, every swinging movement necessary for zigzagging the embroidering material may be set by the swinging angle without the guide lever being caused to swing relative to the rotary cylinder.

摘要: In a storage system having a first storage control apparatus and a second storage control apparatus, the first storage control apparatus has: a first memory; a second memory; an input/output control unit for data transfer information in the second memory; and a data transfer control unit having a data buffer and a data transfer register for controlling data transfer between the first memory and second storage control apparatus based on the data transfer information read from the second memory and written in the data transfer register. When a second data transfer is controlled while a first data transfer is controlled, the data transfer control unit writes the first data transfer information and data stored in the data buffer into the second memory, reads the second data transfer information from the second memory and writes the second data transfer information into the data transfer register to control the second data transfer.

摘要: As a method by which failed products of hard-coated plastic lenses, especially hard-coated high-refractive-index plastic lenses can be regenerated to be in a re-usable condition, plastic lenses coated with a hard coat consisting essentially of an organopolysiloxane compound and an inorganic oxide, are contacted with an aqueous solution of a silicate and/or a phosphate. For example, an aqueous solution of 30% trisodium phosphate heated at 50° C. is sprayed over hard-coated plastic lenses for 5 minutes. The hard coat is removed from the lenses, while the surface of the coat-removed lenses is not roughed. The coat-removed lenses are re-usable.

摘要: To provide a separator for a fuel cell made of graphite excellent in mechanical strength and gas impermeability as well as electric characteristic properties, a separator for a fuel cell is produced from a molded body produced by filling a graphite powder 21 whose surface is coated with resin 20 in a molding die and by pressure-molding the powder. Such a molded body is provided with excellent mechanical strength of 40 MPa of bending strength or higher, 10×10−8 cc·cm/cm2·sec·atm of gas permeability or lower, and electric property of 10×10−3 Ω·cm of the volume resistance or lower even if the content of resin is decreased to as low as 10 to 24 wt. %.
