摘要： An air/fuel ratio control apparatus for executing auxiliary control of an air/fuel ratio by compensating an injected fuel amount set by a control system for maintaining the air/fuel ratio at a preset value. The air/fuel ratio control apparatus includes a state detecting unit for detecting a plurality of physical values which can be measured at low temperature and which show a state of an engine, an air/fuel ratio estimating unit for receiving a plurality of physical values detected by the state detecting means as input parameters and for estimating the air/fuel ratio using a neural network, and a compensatory fuel amount calculating unit for calculating a compensatory fuel amount for the injected fuel amount from the estimated air/fuel ratio. Here, low temperature refers to a temperature at which an air/fuel sensor cannot operate.

摘要： An air-fuel ratio control system which calculates a basic injection amount of fuel by state detecting sensors (21) each of which detects an operating state of an internal combustion engine, air-amount detecting sensors (22) each of which detects an intake air amount, an air-fuel ratio sensor (23), and a predetermined data group. Further, the air-fuel ratio control system stores past amount data of injected fuel and air-fuel ratio data at each control cycle. A neuro-computation unit (29) reads values of the data detected by the sensors (21,22) and the stored data to obtain an air-fuel ratio estimate to calculate a correction injection amount of fuel by a neural network of a forward neuro-computing unit (210), which has learned beforehand about relations of the injected fuel amount, the detected air-fuel ratio, parameters, and dead time.

摘要： A gas is supplied to the surface of the glass sheet transferred between a heating furnace and a cooling apparatus for tempering the glass sheet. The gas is supplied from the upstream side with respect to the direction of transfer of the glass sheet by an air curtain device. This gas runs along the glass sheet surface (upper surface) downstream with respect to the direction of transfer to obstruct the flow of cooling gas from the cooling apparatus in the upstream direction. The gas prevents cooling air from the cooling apparatus from invading the heating furnace so that the difference of the curvature of the glass sheet on the front and rear part can be eliminated.

摘要： It is an object of the present invention to provide an anti-theft apparatus which can prevent a vehicle from being stolen or improperly utilized when the registered user is not in the vicinity of the vehicle under the condition that its engine is in an idling state. The immobilizer includes: user identification data storing means 26 having the user identification data stored therein, the user identification data being indicative of a registered user having permission to utilize the vehicle; identifying means 27 for judging whether or not the person is identical to the registered user on the basis of the comparison between the user identification data received from the identification card 10 and the user identification data stored in the user identification data storing means 26; driving state detecting means 28 for detecting whether the vehicle is in a traveling state, or in a stopped state; and locking and unlocking means 24 for controlling a gear shifter provided in the vehicle on the basis of the judgment of the identifying means 27, the locking and unlocking means 24 being adapted to assume an unlocking state to unlock the gear shifter to allow the gear shifter to be shifted from a neutral state or a parking state when the judgment is made that the person is identified as the unregistered user under the condition that the vehicle is in the stopped state.

摘要： A heating furnace for heating a sheet of glass therein houses an array of beds for transferring the sheet of glass successively over the beds in the furnace in a first direction toward an outlet opening of the heating furnace while shaping the sheet of glass complementarily to an upper surface of the beds. Each of the beds has a plurality of hot air ejection holes for ejecting hot air to keep the sheet of glass out of contact with the beds. The beds include a final bed disposed near the outlet opening and inclined upwardly toward the outlet opening. The final bed has an upper panel which is upwardly convex in both the first direction and a second direction transverse to the first direction.

摘要： A glass quenching apparatus for quenching a glass sheet heated to a predetermined temperature, includes a first nozzle group for jetting blower air onto opposite surfaces of the glass sheet, and a second nozzle group for jetting compressor air onto at least one of the opposite surfaces of the glass sheet. The first nozzle group is comprised of stationary nozzles, and the second nozzle group is comprised of movable nozzles which are capable of moving parallel to a plane of the glass sheet. The glass quenching apparatus of the foregoing construction is able to quench the glass sheet uniformly over the entire area thereof without undue wastage of quenching air.
