    摘要: An optical system is disclosed for an endoscope having a generally tubular distal end in which an objective lens assembly and an image sensor in the form of a solid-state video camera are internally housed so that an image formed by the lens assembly is focussed upon the input or pickup surface of the video camera. The video camera is disposed along or in proximity to the center axis of the distal end of the endoscope and in some instances is oblique with respect to the center axis. The video camera may be positioned in this way due to the provision of a reflecting surface which is angularly disposed in opposing relationship with an input surface of the video camera, and deflection means disposed in front of the lens assembly and within the objective lens assembly, or between the lens assembly and the reflecting surface so that an image formed by the lens assembly can be focussed on the input surface of the video camera.

    摘要: An optical system is disclosed for an endoscope having a generally tubular distal end in which an objective lens assembly and a solid-state video camera are internally housed so that an image formed by the lens assembly is focussed upon the video camera. The video camera is disposed along or in proximity to the center axis of the distal end of the endoscope. The video camera may be positioned in this way due to the provision of a reflecting surface which is angularly disposed in opposing relationship with an input surface of the video camera, and deflection means disposed in front of the lens assembly and within the objective lens assembly, or between the lens assembly and the reflecting surface, so that an image formed by the lens assembly can be focussed on the input surface of the video camera.

    摘要: A stereoscopic optical system includes, at a distal end of an insertion part of an endoscope, a two-path forming optical system for forming two paths of rays involving a parallax, an image forming optical system for forming images out of light travelling along the respective paths of rays in the two-path forming optical system onto a common region, and an image sensor arranged at an image forming position of the image forming optical system. The stereoscopic optical system is further provided with a time-division path switching means that is capable of switching between the two paths of rays in a time-division manner so that only light coming from either one of the two paths of rays formed by the two-path forming optical system enters the image forming optical system.

With this arrangement, a bright projected image can be obtained while disposing the outgoing aperture and the point light source sufficiently near to each other, reducing aberration, and reducing the diameter of a collecting lens so that the overall size of the projector can be reduced.
