    摘要: An apparatus for scrubbing or washing a gas having a chamber, which is partially filled with a washing liquid, and into which the gas to be washed flows and the washing liquid is sprayed by a rotatable device for pumping liquid from the chamber and spraying the liquid into the chamber. The apparatus has a compact construction and requires only a small surface on which to stand, but nevertheless provides for low pressure losses. The chamber is composed of first and second chamber parts which are arranged next to one another and are separated by a partition arranged between them so as to project from above at least partially into the washing liquid in the chamber, the two chamber parts being connected with one another in a deflection area above the liquid.
