    摘要： An applicator for topically applying a semi-solid medicament comprises an applicator head having an applicator face for spreading medicament across the skin; a sealable aperture on the applicator face; and a drive mechanism for forcing medicament out through the aperture. The applicator head includes a cartridge port at the rear of the applicator face for receiving a dispensing end of a cartridge charged with medicament. The drive mechanism comprises a dial knob rotatable around a longitudinal axis of the applicator for advancing a piston along a drive member towards the applicator head to force medicament from the cartridge and thereby dispense a predetermined dose of medicament onto the applicator face.

    摘要： A wearable, mobile and/or portable terminal for use in an inventory management system. The terminal includes a terminal housing, a battery pack removably receivable within an external battery-receiving cavity of the terminal housing, and a battery latching mechanism that secures the battery pack in the battery-receiving cavity in a latched condition. The battery pack has an unlatched condition in which the battery latch mechanism is disengaged from the battery pack. A camming surface of the battery latching mechanism lifts the unlatched battery pack from the battery-receiving cavity to promote its removal from the terminal housing. The terminal housing is sealed relative to the environment surrounding the wearable terminal battery pack and yet permits electrical coupling between the battery pack and the terminal in the latched condition.

    摘要： An inspiratory muscle training device comprises a chamber having an opening for the passage of air to be inhaled and exhaled, and an inlet permitting air to be inhaled to enter the chamber and to pass to the opening. A one-way exhaust valve permits exhaled air entering through the opening to escape from the chamber, and another valve is provided to resist the entry of air to be inhaled into the chamber, the latter valve serving to vary the degree of resistance in dependence upon the volume of air that has passed through the inlet.

    摘要： A counter mechanism useable with a dry powder inhaler is disclosed. The mechanism features first and second indicator members rotatable about a central axis. The indicator members have counting indicia visible to indicate inhaler doses remaining or dispensed. A coupling transmits rotary motion from the inhaler to the second indicator member when the inhaler is charged with a dose. A slave wheel, rotatable about an axis offset from the central axis, has a drive transfer wheel on one face and a gear on an opposite face. The gear engages the second indicator member, the drive transfer wheel intermittently engages and rotates the first indicator member in response to rotary motion of the second indicator member.
