Abstract: In some examples, by communicating with a mobile payment service, a user of a mobile device may settle his or her bill with a business using the mobile device. The business may be configured with a beacon to determine when the user's mobile device is near the business and a point-of-sale device to manage user orders and communicate with the mobile payment service. In response to a request by the mobile device, the mobile payment service may debit a user account associated with the mobile device for items purchased at the business. In turn, the mobile payment service may pay the business for the items purchased at the business. In some examples, the bill may be divided among a plurality of users corresponding to a plurality of mobile devices. And, portions of the bill may be provided to individual mobile devices of the plurality of mobile devices.

Abstract: The techniques described herein are directed to identifying data quality issues within information stored across multiple different data sources. For instance, the data quality issues can comprise missing values, inconsistent values, and un-translated values. Once identified, the techniques implement actions to resolve the data quality issues so that consumption or use of the information stored is improved. In at least one example, the identification and resolution of a data quality issue can be implemented in response to receiving a query that identifies an object. Based on the query, the system can collect values, from the multiple different sources, for attributes that have been defined for an item. The system can use algorithms (e.g., a comparison algorithm) to identify a data quality issue and can output a graphical user interface that visually distinguishes between attributes with a data quality issue and attributes without a data quality issue.

Abstract: Printer devices occasionally cause electronic documents to be automatically contracted prior to printing, in order to ensure that all of the content to be printed will fit within the dimensions of a page. Where the electronic document includes information having close tolerances, such as information to be printed on an address label or other defined region on a sheet, the automatic contraction may cause the information to be misaligned with respect to the label or other defined region. Automatically expanding the information within the electronic document prior to printing may counter this effect, and increase the likelihood that the information will be printed within the label or other defined region for which it is intended.
