摘要: A relay for switching of ultra high frequency circuits has three spaced-apart coaxial type contacts including a central or common contact. Two contact blades are disposed in opposed relation to the coaxial contact for alternate movement from a first position in which one rigid contact engages the central coaxial contact and one side contact while the other rigid contact is grounded, and a second position in which the other rigid contact engages the central contact and another coaxial contact and the first rigid contact is grounded. Pusher elements connected to the respective rigid contacts are connected to opposite sides of a leaf spring supported at its center. A pivotal armature alternately presses on one end or the other of a leaf spring to drive one rigid contact against its two coaxial contacts and to permit the other end of the leaf spring to pull the other rigid contact into engagement with the ground plane.

摘要: The invention provides a retaining device for assembling two panels together. The device has a support and first and second pairs of spaced-apart parallel walls extending along the support and projecting outwardly therefrom for providing first and second holding channels extending angularly to each other, each channel being adapted to receive an edge of one of the panels therein in a snugly relationship to allow assembling of the two panels. The invention also provides a formwork for forming a polygonal upright concrete structure using a plurality of retaining devices and a plurality of panels arranged with the retaining devices for providing a forming cavity between the panels adapted to receive concrete therein. There is also provided a packaging assembly for packaging goods using a plurality of retaining devices and a plurality of panels arranged with the retaining devices for providing a protecting cavity between the panels adapted to receive the goods therein.

摘要: A formwork for forming a concrete structure, comprising a rigid tubular envelope defining a peripheral inner wall circumscribing an axial hollow, further comprising a wall assembly nested within the axial hollow of the tubular envelope and including a number of wall parts defining inside and back surfaces. The back surface of each wall part bears against a corresponding section of the envelope inner wall, and the wall parts are arranged successively one relative to the other in peripheral coextensive fashion within the tubular envelope such that the inside surfaces, in combination, configure an axial forming cavity for receiving and forming a concrete column therein. The wall assembly further comprises an impervious liner applied to the inside surface of each wall part, providing an impervious barrier between the forming cavity and the inside surface of the wall parts.

摘要: A side panel for a recreational vehicle, such as a snowmobile is disclosed. The side panel extends from the windshield portion of the snowmobile to the pan portion. The side panel is hingedly attached at a front edge to the snowmobile so that the side panel opens outwardly along vertically oriented hinges. The side panel includes a windshield to protect the operator's legs. The side panel also includes an airbox which provides an air charge to the engine for combustion. In addition, an airbox, divisible into two parts is also disclosed. The airbox includes a portion adapted to be attached to the interior of the side panel or to a belt guard. A second portion of the air box can be disposed within the engine compartment.

摘要: A method to remotely determine a location of a mobile unit without intervention by a user of the mobile unit is provided. The mobile unit may receive a location query, download location data from a GPS, and transmit the location data via a wireless telecommunications network. For example, a call center may initiate a location query using a voice channel call to the mobile unit. In addition, the mobile unit may select a mode of communication from a number of alternative modes of digital wireless communication based upon a determined characteristic of the transmission mode. By way of example, the determined characteristic could be a transmission speed, cost of transmission, or signal strength of the selected communication mode. Furthermore, the unit may be a battery pack or other accessory device attachable to a wireless telephone handset.
