    摘要: An active antenna device, a network device, an access point equipped with the network device and a plurality of distributed active antenna devices form components of a communication system. The active antenna device contains an antenna unit, an amplifier unit and a control unit, wherein the amplification of the amplifier unit is controlled by the control unit according to an instruction from a management unit located in the network device. The devices achieve a low handover frequency whereas rendering the communication less vulnerable to contentions and/or interference than in the conventional systems.

    摘要: A radio communication system has a base station and one or more antennas, each of the one or more antennas connects with a radio frequency port of the base station through an RF connection. Direct current and/or low frequency (DC/LF) signals are transmitted to an antenna via the RF connection corresponding to the antenna. The radio communication system further has an identification module at the antenna side, adapted to give an indication for identification of the antenna when receiving the DC/LF signals from the RF connection. Accordingly, the information exchange between the base station and a more or less intelligent “identification unit” in the antenna is performed to allow identification of the antenna from the base station side and further allow diagnosis of the cable link.

During the master multiple receiver aggregation phase, the access point aggregates the data to be sent to the plurality of client terminals into one packet for transmitting in the downlink, and during the slave multiple receiver aggregation phases, the access point aggregates data in which errors have occurred when being transmitted during the master multiple receiver aggregation phase into one packet for transmitting in the downlink. The method can have strict control, through the access point and over the uplink and downlink data transmission, thus enhancing the certainty during automation communication and further reducing the cycle time.

    摘要: In a method for the error-monitored transmission of data via interfaces of a multi-step communication system, the data is transmitted from a transmitter station to a data-receiving station via at least two relay stations which are connected therebetween and receive and further transmit the data parallel to each other. The data is retransmitted if the transmission has been insufficient due to a request from the receiver end and/or due to the lack of a confirmation from the receiver end. In order to increase performance while reducing power consumption of the system, the request or confirmation is generated only by the receiver station and is sent back to the transmitter station. The relay stations consequently do not generate any confirmations or requests.

    摘要: A handoff control method includes the following: Handoff status information of a first mobile host (MH) is collected. The handoff status information includes at least one parameter that is used for representing a status that happened during the first handoff from a source access point (AP) to a target AP. A handoff policy is generated based on the handoff status information, and used for optimizing a handoff process of an MH associated with the source AP. The handoff process occurs after the first MH is handed off from the source AP. The handoff policy is sent to the MH associated with the source AP, so the MH associated with the source AP can perform the handoff according to the handoff policy. A handoff control device and a system represent technical solutions that optimize the handoff process, reduce a total time delay of handoff, and increase a likelihood of successful handoff.
