摘要： The invention relates to razors and razor blade cartridges and methods of manufacture therefore including at least one razor blade housing made from polymer material and at least one skin contacting surface, the at least one skin contacting surface being made of a superhydrophillic polymer material. The polymer material has surface properties modified by functionalisation. Preferably the polymer material is a TPU or TPE, with a Rockwell hardness D scale between 30 D and 85 D, a tensile strength between 35 and 80 MPA and a flexural modulas between 40 and 2350 MPA The invention also relates to a method of manufacture of a razor blade cartridge including the steps of moulding a cartridge housing including skin contacting surfaces of polymeric material; subsequently activating the skin engaging surfaces of the polymer using either physical or chemical means to make the surface receptive to the covalent grafting of a monomer, and grafting a functional group onto the surface such as an N-vinyl lactam.

摘要： A paper feed system for use in a printing apparatus that detects multi-feeds and separates all sheets while allowing a single sheet to continue into the machine includes a nip with a drive roller for feeding sheets. A reversible pressure roller downstream of the drive roller is connected to a motor, but idles in the direction of the paper feed in normal operation. When a multi-feed is detected, the motor is turned ON and the reversible pressure roll actuated by a controller. The reversible pressure roller has more friction with the sheet in its contact than the friction between sheets. This drives the sheet in contact backwards.

摘要： A method of operating a printer turns off a support structure heater when the printer enters standby mode. The print head is then moved away from an intermediate transfer surface supported by a support structure. Heat settings used to heat a print head are then varied to heat the print head and the support structure. Another method of operating a printer turns off a support structure heater when the printer enters standby mode and holds a print head adjacent to an intermediate transfer surface while the printer is in standby mode.

摘要： Serrated Fourier filters and inspection systems are provided. One Fourier filter includes one or more blocking elements configured to block a portion of light from a wafer. The Fourier filter also includes periodic serrations formed on edges of the one or more blocking elements. The periodic serrations define a transition region of the one or more blocking elements. The periodic serrations are configured to vary transmission across the transition region such that variations in the transmission across the transition region are substantially smooth. One inspection system includes a Fourier filter configured as described above and a detector that is configured to detect light transmitted by the Fourier filter. Signals generated by the detector can be used to detect the defects on the wafer.

In one embodiment, the method allows for predicting an adverse clinical response, and therefore allows for an improved safety profile of AN1792. In another embodiment, the method allows for predicting a favorable clinical response, and therefore allows for an improved efficacy profile of AN1792. The methods of the present invention may be combined to predict a favorable clinical response and the lack of an adverse clinical response.
