The drive unit comprises a housing (12) which is provided with an opening (18), leading towards the surroundings (23), on which a gas-permeable, liquid-impermeable membrane (20) rests. The housing (12) has a first housing part (14) with a peripheral collar (26) and a second housing part (16) obturating the first housing part (14). The opening is injection-molded to the second housing part (16) with a peripheral contact surface (28) which forces the membrane (20) against the collar (26) of the first housing part (14) once the housing (12) is closed.
