摘要： A structure attaches weather stripping to the body along the side of a roof of a vehicle body, and is especially useful around a door opening thereof. A molding that extends along the side of a roof for covering an outside surface of the weather strip is attached to the vehicle by securing a base portion of the molding to an outer part of the body wall defining the door opening. The weather strip has a bottom portion and a sealing portion. An outer part of the bottom portion is bonded to the base portion of the molding with a first double-sided adhesive tape, while an inner part of the bottom portion is bonded to the body wall defining the door opening with a second double-sided adhesive tape which is made of a material having a density below that of a material forming the first double-sided adhesive tape.

摘要： An extruded weather strip having a tubular configuration and adapted to be bonded to a body wall along a roof side of a vehicle body, which defines a door opening thereof, with a double-sided adhesive tape. The weather strip includes a bottom portion adapted to be bonded to the body wall with the double-sided adhesive tape, and a seal wall including sides that are connected to both side ends of the bottom portion. The weather strip further includes first and second internal bridge members which interconnect the bottom portion and the seal wall. One end of the first bridge is connected to the seal wall at a position inside of where a door window pane will push on that seal wall while the other end is connected to an outer side end of the bottom portion. One end of the second bridge is connected to the seal wall in a position similar to the first bridge while the other end is connected to an inner side end of the bottom portion.

In addition, the polyamide 6,10 used has a relative viscosity, as measured in 98 percent sulfuric acid, of 2.3 to 2.9.

The weather strip includes a trim portion having a generally U-shaped cross-section and a tubular seal portion. 摘要： A door weather strip capable of surely closing a gap between a door of a motor vehicle and a door opening portion of a vehicle body while exhibiting excellent sealing properties with good appearance. The door weather strip includes a base portion for attachment to an outer periphery of the door, and a seal portion which is integrally formed with the base portion for contacting the door opening portion. The seal portion includes a main seal and a sub-seal which is provided on an outer side of the main seal. The sub-seal has a protrusion which protrudes from the base portion towards the door opening portion, and a tubular part having a generally triangular cross-section. One corner of the tubular part is integrally joined to the protrusion such that one wall which faces the one corner is located between the door and the door opening portion.

摘要： There is provided a weather strip in which a mounting base portion of the weather strip includes a portion formed into a substantially L-shape in cross section which has at least a bottom wall and an exterior side wall. A pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape is securely affixed to an internal surface of the exterior side wall. A stretch and contraction prevention portion is formed on the exterior side wall in a position which lies more centrally in a width direction of the exterior side wall than a connecting portion where the exterior side wall and the bottom wall are connected together. When the mounting base portion is curved in the width direction, a neutral plane of the curve is made to reside within the stretch and contraction prevention portion.

摘要： A vehicle seal that prevents the sealing capability with respect to a window glass from decreasing. The vehicle seal is attached to a frame defining a window glass opening of a vehicle to support a peripheral portion of a vertically movable window glass. The vehicle seal includes a main body arranged along the frame of the opening. Seal lips are formed integrally with the main body to contact the surface of the window glass. The seal lips include, on at least one side of the glass, an intermediate seal lip and a cover seal lip that is located closer to a center of the opening than the intermediate seal lip. An elastically deformable connecting portion connects the main body and the intermediate seal lip.
