摘要:
When resin pipes are connected through induction heating, the resin pipes of this invention do not form inside bulges due to air and resin expansion during the heating process. A cylindrical heater made of stainless steel is placed around the joint between two resin pipes made of polyvinylidene fluoride. The heater is then heated by induction heating to weld the joint of resin pipes. The heater has a plurality of holes on the cylindrical surface so that air and molten resin located between the heater and the resin pipes are released through the holes.

An electromagnetic induction heater in which magnetic flux diffusing members are fixed to at least two ends of an iron core wrapped with an electric wire to form a coil, and a metal plate is connected to the magnetic flux diffusing members to heat a wide area of the metal plate uniformly. By supplying a commercial low frequency alternating power source of 50-60 Hz to the coil, magnetic flux is generated in the iron core. The magnetic flux, flowing in the magnetic flux diffusing members, is diffused in a longitudinal direction. Diffused magnetic flux flows through the metallic plate to generate Joule heat over the plate. Therefore, the entire surface of the metal plate is heated uniformly. Either a single-phase or three-phase alternating power source is used in this invention.

An electromagnetic induction steam generator is compact or ultra-compact and highly efficient, and capable of continuous operation, intermittent operation and empty-heating operation. Magnetic flux passes through a closed magnetic circuit of two leg iron cores, a heater, and a yoke iron core after a low-frequency alternating current is supplied from a power supply to electric wire coils. Joule heat is generated inside the heater by the permeation of magnetic flux. When fluid such as water, is supplied from the fluid supply port, it is heated and becomes steam within the heating chamber. The steam then emerges from the steam output port.

A low-frequency induction heater includes a primary side coil having a core and a secondary side conductive hollow cylindrical member surrounding the primary side coil. An improvement to the Joule heat generation efficiency and a solution to problems peculiar to composite materials, such as thermal deformation, electrolytic corrosion, and difficulty is sought of manufacture by forming the conductive hollow cylindrical member of a sole stainless steel material of a thickness ranging from 2 mm to 6 mm. In a preferred embodiment, a coil 2 is wound around a rod-like core 1, which is in turn surrounded by a conductive hollow cylindrical member 3 made of a sole stainless steel material of a thickness ranging from 2 mm to 6 mm. When an AC current passes through the coil 2, an alternating magnetic field is set up in the axial direction of the coil 2, which causes an inducted current in the conductive hollow cylindrical member 3. Joule heat is thus generated in the member 3 due to the electric resistance thereof.

An induction coil is formed by winding an electrically conductive wire around an iron core, and at least one turn of a pipe of electrically conductive material is wound around the induction coil. The pipe is short-circuited at positions other than where the pipe is wound around the induction coil. An A.C. power source is connected to the induction and preheated fluid is supplied to the pipe to be further heated by induction within the pipe. Since the pipe has a large heat transfer area, efficient heat exchange can be obtained. This heating system is connected to a steam generator, which supplies the preheated fluid to it. The steam generator includes an induction coil of an electrically conductive wire wound on an iron core and a metal material forming a plate disposed on the iron core. The bottom surface of the metal material provides a magnetic flux path for the induction coil. An A.C. power source is connected to the induction coil to induce induction heating in the plate and thus to vaporize water or other fluid supplied to the steam generator into a space within the steam generator above the plate. The steam generator also includes a gas-liquid separator above the plate for separating steam from condensed droplets.

A low frequency electromagnetic induction heater which applies a low voltage-high current performance transformer is disclosed. In the present heater, any space or vacancies between an induction coil and a metal heating pipe is excluded. This invention provides a high performance heater with the small temperature difference between the heating part and the material to be heated, high thermal efficiency, high reliability, high durability, and steady operation during a long period.
