摘要: A flexible LED lighting module includes a flexible housing and flexible PCB to which LED units are mounted. An encapsulant fills a channel of the flexible housing and has a same or similar optical refractive index value as is used in the LED unit to hold phosphorous particles used for coloring of the LED. Use of the encapsulant changes the color of the light ultimately emitted from the flexible LED lighting module, and this factor is corrected for in calibration processes associated with the flexible LED lighting module.

摘要: A wearable light assembly includes an opaque housing that is open towards the ground and is configured to reflect light emitted from a first light source downward onto a first location that is close to the wearer and reflect light from a second light source downward onto a second location on the ground that is farther away from the wearer than the first location. In an embodiment, the wearable light assembly senses motion of the wearer and switches between the first light source and the second light source depending on whether the wearer is moving slowly (in which case it activates the first light source) or moving quickly (in which case it activates the second light source).

摘要: In an illustrative embodiment, an integrated speaker-light unit includes a base unit adapted to be mounted to a fixture of an aircraft, a speaker unit disposed proximate the base unit, a horn element having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end positioned proximate the speaker unit and defining a first aperture, and the distal end defining a second aperture, where a greatest measurement of the second aperture is larger than a greatest measurement of the first aperture, an LED unit disposed at least partially in the horn element, and a housing element at least partially surrounding the horn element. The greatest measurement of the second aperture may be less than 4 inches. The base unit may be mounted to a passenger service unit such that the integrated speaker-light unit is presented as a passenger reading light.
