    Abstract: A wideband chaotic waveform that is rateless in that it may be modulated at virtually any rate and has a minimum of features introduced into the waveform. Further, the waveform provided may be operated below a signal to noise ratio wall to further enhance the LPD and LPE aspects, thereof. Additionally, the present disclosure may provide a mix of coherent and non-coherent processing techniques applied to signal samples to efficiently achieve coarse synchronization with a waveform that is faster, more efficient and more accurate than using time domain signal correlators alone.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a network system having multiple users, multiple inputs, and multiple outputs to transmit data from a data source through a link to a data sink. One example of a Multi-user multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) system relates to the use of primary transceivers and secondary transceivers in respective networks that effectuate data transmission. The primary transceivers are coupled with a data source and broadcast or transmit the data source signal to a plurality of secondary transceivers in a local area network. The signal is then transmitted over a long link to another set of secondary transceivers that then pass the signal to another primary transceiver. This another primary transceiver is coupled with the data sink to effectuate signal transmission to the data sink. The data is synchronized in manner that requires minimal processing and does not require closed loop phase control.

    Abstract: A system and method of assisting a radio in finding a network is presented. A method first detects existing nodes. A message is received on a slow communication link in a slow network from a new node. One or more existing nodes are found that may connect to new node with a fast communication link in a fast network. The fast network has a data rate that is faster than the slow network. A message is transmitted over the slow network to the new node to provide the new node possible existing nodes that are near it that it may connect to. Based on that message the new node establishes a fast communications link on the fast network between the new node and an existing node. The fast communications link can be a directional link.

    Abstract: The system and method generates a pulse or a signal that is transmitted between a central processing unit or processor and an Ethernet integrated circuit card to program a trigger generator in the IC. The pulse is effectively a 1PPS signal that is provided to the IC, which may be in the form a field programmable gate array to enable timing synchronization. The trigger in the IC may also generates an interrupt to the processor so a driver in the CPU is instructed to set the next trigger. For the trigger to be accurately controlled, the control routine is implemented in the driver existing in kernel space rather than user space. A routine or protocol periodically polls the interrupt to determine when the trigger must be reset.
