Abstract: In an external-ignition combustion engine operating with compression of the fuel mixture and continuous injection into the suction duct fuel is measured off by a valve by means of a slider actuated by a suction-responsive plate against a return force provided by fuel pressure and subject to control in dependence on operating characteristics of the engine. A pressure-control valve may be subject to a spring bias which is varied by a surface cam in response to throttle position and to pressure downstream of the throttle in the suction duct. A further control in response to engine temperature may be provided.

Abstract: In a fuel injection apparatus the setting of the fuel metering valve in response to the deflection of an air sensor in the air intake tube is effected by an electric follower regulator circuit to which there is applied a setting magnitude characterizing the deflection of the air sensor. Output signals of the circuit are applied to an electromagnetic setting device operatively connected to the fuel metering valve.

Abstract: In a fuel distributor - in which the fuel to be delivered to a cylinder of an internal combustion engine is dosed by a metering valve - in order to maintain at a constant value the difference between the fuel pressure upstream of and downstream of the metering valve, there is provided a plurality of control valves (one for each cylinder) having a flat seat whose flow passage section is directly variable by a movable membrane. One side of said membrane is exposed to the downstream fuel pressure urging said membrane into a control valve opening direction, the other side of said membrane is exposed to the upstream fuel pressure urging said membrane into a control valve closing direction.
