摘要： Methods of identifying compounds that specifically modulate the interaction of FGFR1 and β-Klotho are disclosed. Identified compounds can be useful in treating metabolic diseases and disorders that involve the interaction of FGFR1 and β-Klotho. In various embodiments the metabolic disease or disorder is diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia, elevated glucose levels, elevated insulin levels and diabetic nephropathy.
