    摘要: An internal combustion engine is associated with a remote load indicator which provides an output signal, corresponding to an impending increase in mechanical load. The internal combustion engine includes an air supply system and an electrical processing circuit. The electrical processing circuit is coupled with the load indicator and receives the output signal. The electrical processing circuit controls the air supply system to initiate an increase in an air supply to the internal combustion engine prior to the increase in mechanical load.

A method of image registration with an object comprising: obtaining a Helmholtz reciprocal pair of images of an object, the Helmholtz reciprocal pair of images comprising a first image and a corresponding reciprocal image; estimating a pose for the object; predicting an estimated image corresponding to the pose and one image of the reciprocal pair of images; comparing the estimated image with a corresponding actual image from the pair of images; and refining the estimating a pose based on the comparing.

    摘要: Disclosed are apparatus and methods that provide the ability to electrical stimulate a physical system, and actively eliminate interference with signal acquisition (artifacts) that arises from the stimulation. The technique implemented in the circuits and methods for eliminating interference connects a discharge path to a physical interface to the system to remove charge that is built-up during stimulation. By placing the discharge path in a feedback loop that includes a recording preamplifier and AC-coupling circuitry, the physical interface is brought back to its pre-stimulation offset voltage. The disclosed apparatus and methods may be used with piezoelectric transducers, ultrasound devices, optical diodes, and polarizable and non-polarizable electrodes. The disclosed apparatus can be employed in implantable devices, in vitro or in vivo setups with vertebrate and invertebrate neural tissue, muscle fibers, pancreatic islet cells, osteoblasts, osteoclasts, bacteria, algae, fungi, protists, and plants.
