    摘要: The present invention relates to a broadband non-resonant antenna device for wireless transmission of information using electromagnetic signals, comprising a metal sheet layer, forming a plane, with a slotline that comprises a first part and a second part. The side of the second part that is the most distant from the first part transcends into a widening open-ended tapered slot in the metal sheet layer. The device additionally comprises a feeding line in the metal sheet layer. The feeding line comprises a feeding part, with a first end and a second end, and gaps separating the feeding part from the surrounding metal sheet layer by a certain distance, where the slotline is intersected by the feeding line.

The device comprises a feed section having at least two input transmission lines, a feed/wave-guide interface providing an aperture for transferring a radio frequency electromagnetic wave between the feed section and a wave-guide mode in a wave-guide section having ridges. The wave-guide section transfers energy between the feed/wave-guide interface and a tapered notch section, thereby gradually adjusting a created electromagnetic field towards free space conditions.

    摘要: The invention provides an improved array antenna, an array antenna system and an improved method for utilizing the improved array antenna and array antenna system. This is accomplished by an array antenna comprising a region of reference potential, e.g. a ground plane, and a spatially extended collection of at least two antenna elements capable of being at least partly balanced driven and at least partly unbalanced driven. The antenna elements have a first radiating element connected to a first port and a second radiating element connected to a second port. In other words, the antenna element has at least two ports. The radiating elements are arranged substantially adjacent and parallel to each other so as to extend at least a first distance approximately perpendicularly from said region of reference potential. The antenna element is further comprising a radiating arrangement connected to said first and said second radiating elements so as to extend at least a second distance above and approximately parallel to said region of ground reference.

    摘要: A low-radar cross section antenna structure for an active electrically scanned antenna including an active electrically scanned antenna enclosure and at least two antenna elements. The antenna elements are arranged to be mounted on a front surface of the active electrically scanned antenna enclosure and embedded in a lightweight structure. The front surface and side surfaces of the active electrically scanned antenna enclosure and the antenna elements are arranged to be covered with the lightweight structure. A thin laminate is arranged to cover an outer top surface and an outer side surface of the lightweight structure. Parts of the lightweight structure are arranged to be doped with a lossy material having dielectric, magnetic and/or resistive losses, thus making these parts of the lightweight structure absorbing for electromagnetic radiation.
