    摘要: A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions for execution by one or more processors of a UE to configure the UE for UL STxMP. Multiple CSI-RS transmissions originating from a base station are decoded. The multiple CSI-RS transmissions include a first CSI-RS received at a first UE antenna panel from a first TRP of the base station and a second CSI-RS received at a second UE antenna panel from a second TRP of the base station. A first RSRP measurement corresponding to the first CSI-RS and a second RSRP measurement corresponding to the second CSI-RS are determined. A CSI report including the first RSRP measurement with a panel ID of the first UE antenna panel and the second RSRP measurement with a panel ID of the second UE antenna panel is encoded for transmission to the base station.

    摘要: An apparatus for use in a UE includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory. To configure the UE for SSB processing in a 5G-NR network, the processing circuitry is to decode a MIB and a SIB received from a gNB. An RRC IE within the SIB is obtained. The RRC IE includes a bitmap associated with an SSB transmission pattern, where a length of the bitmap indicates a number of beams used within a cell of the gNB. SSB indices corresponding to candidate SSB positions within a discovery reference signal (DRS) transmission duration are determined based on the number of beams. Synchronization with the cell of the to gNB is performed using SSBs received within the DRS transmission duration, the SSBs selected based on the determined SSB indices.

    摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for feedback for closed-loop transmitting with multiple transmit antenna elements and multiple receive antenna elements. A base station includes a codebook containing sets of weightings for the multiple transmit antenna elements, with each set of weightings identified by an index and the codebook known to the base station and a served mobile station (MS). The base station pre-codes pilot signals using a precoding matrix, preferably a unitary matrix, to produce pre-coded pilot signals, which precoding matrix may or may not be known to the MS and which precoding matrix may or may not be included in the codebook. The base station then transmits the pre-coded pilot signals to the MS via the multiple transmit antenna elements and, in response, receives an index to a set of weightings in the codebook for use in a subsequent transmission of a data stream.

    摘要: An apparatus for a base station configured for operation in a C-RAN includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory. To configure the base station for multi-user multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) signal processing, the processing circuitry is to decode a plurality of sounding reference signals received from a corresponding plurality of UEs via a corresponding plurality of channels. The plurality of channels are estimated based on the plurality of sounding reference signals. A beamforming matrix is determined based on a channel matrix corresponding to the plurality of channels. Beamforming is performed on a plurality of uplink (UL) data streams received from the plurality of UEs, to generate a plurality of beamformed streams. The beamforming is based on the beamforming matrix. Interference suppression is performed on the plurality of beamformed streams to generate a plurality of output data streams. The interference suppression is based on non-orthogonal DMRSs received from the UEs.
