摘要： A method and an arrangement is provided for detecting a faulty memory element among a plurality of memory elements. Two element categories are introduced. If a memory element belongs to the first category normal writing and reading processes are carried out. If a memory element belongs to the second category the writing processes as well as the reading processes are combined with an inversion a (binary complementing) of the actual transferred binary information. The category of an element is shifted at times, for example, before each writing process.

摘要： A corporate/organization communications system includes a number of mobile telephones and a local network which has a private automatic branch exchange (PABX) with a number of extensions. Access units are connected to the extensions. A service node, referred to as a mobility server, is connected to the PABX as an adjunct and manages all calls to and from the mobile telephones. The mobile telephones are adapted to make outgoing calls to the PABX only. The mobility server checks the services requested in a call from a mobile telephone. If the requested services match a service profile associated with the mobile telephone, the mobility server initiates the set up of the requested outgoing call. If they do not match the outgoing call is rejected. In this manner, a company or organization can control all outgoing calls from its mobile telephones. Calls directed to the mobile telephones are managed by a call park, call alert and call back sequence.

摘要： The present invention relates to a multinetwork communication method for telecommunication in an environment which includes a number of different telecommunications networks, using a multinetwork terminal intended for communication in the various telecommunications networks. The invention is characterized in that the multinetwork terminal (25) itself detects those telecommunications networks to which it has access. On the basis of predetermined decision criterions, the multinetwork terminal itself decides in which of the accessible telecommunications networks communication shall take place. The invention also relates to a multinetwork terminal having a control unit (32) and network switching means controlled by the control unit for activation of communication devices (30, 31) in the selected telecommunications network.

摘要： A paging method in which a first user wishes to page and transmit a message to a second user with the aid of a paging service. The first user requests paging of the second user at a paging central which offers an alerting service and a message service which supplements the alert with the message. The paging central alerts the second user by means of the alerting service. The paging service is not associated with any particular telecommunication network, but can be performed in at least one telecommunication network chosen from among at least two possible telecommunication networks. The message service is also made independent of the alerting service, in that the message service is not activated until a request to do so is received from the aforesaid first telecommunication network while the message service utilizes at least one telecommunication network which is selectively different from the first-mentioned network. The message is not transmitted until the aforementioned request is received.
