摘要: An apparatus is provided for removing the severed end-portions of boiler tubes installed and retained in a boiler header without consequential boiler header metal damage and in a manner whereby a compression gap of uniform width is machined throughout the length and thickness of each retained boiler tube end-portion selected for removal, the machined boiler tube end-portion is subsequently compressed to significantly close the machined compression gap and reduce the tube end cross-sectional circumference, and the compressed tube end is withdrawn longitudinally from engagement with the boiler header tube-mounting bore.

摘要: A compression tool assembly that is useful in connection with the removal of boiler tube flared-end segments from retention within power boiler header walls is provided with oppositely paired compression jaw elements that are rotated to cause the wall of a longitudinally gapped boiler tube flared-end segment to be compressed into a cross-section configuration that permits comparatively easy tube segment withdrawal.

摘要: Access to a local device such as a display device is achieved by receiving a code that is only accessible within an enclosed space, extracting a first identifier from the code and providing a second identifier that corresponds to the first identifier to an access server. In certain embodiments, the access server is a display server.

摘要: A process for the preparation of an anisotropic conducting material including the steps of providing a strip or sheet of a non-conducting matrix and laminating at least one layer of a release material to each side thereof to form a composite matrix, forming an array of holes in a predetermined pattern in the composite matrix, passing the matrix through a coating head which simultaneously fills the holes in the array in the composite matrix from both sides of the matrix with a conducting material, curing or drying the composite filled matrix and removing at least one layer of release material from each side of the matrix.

摘要: A bracket system for retaining an outlet box in a hole in a floor. The bracket system includes an insert body configured to be positioned in the hole in the floor, a cover configured to cover the insert body, and at least first and second brackets. Each bracket includes a base plate configured to be mounted in the insert body. The base plate includes at least one leg extending therefrom and at least one barb extending therefrom. The insert body includes holes in an exterior wall thereof through which the barbs of the first and second brackets extend to resistably engage the wall of the hole to retain the insert body in the hole and the legs of the first and second brackets are secured to the cover.

摘要: A visualization technique for directing the attention of analysts to anomalous values of performance measures associated with a target entity is described. A grid of cells is created where each row represents a particular performance metric, and each column a particular time period. For each cell, an anomaly score is calculated associated with the performance metric and time period corresponding to the row and column of the cell. The anomaly score is based on the value of the performance metric for that particular entity for that time period, as well as context data. The context data is selected to represent the historical values of the performance metric for the target entity or the simultaneous performance of peer entities. The anomaly score is calculated using an exceptional statistical technique, and a display characteristic is associated with the value of the anomaly score based upon the range into which the anomaly score falls. The display characteristic is displayed within the cell on the grid, forming an anomaly map that allows identification of patterns among the performance metrics.
