摘要: A directory event system for providing timely event notifications of each data manipulation of a master directory database and for providing timely event notifications of each corresponding data replication to a replicate directory database is disclosed. The directory event system includes an event master server, one or more event service servers, and one or more event client servers. For an event client server having directory clients in electrical communication with the master directory database, the event master server provides an event notification to the event client server in response to a data manipulation of the master directory database by a directory service provider server. The master directory clients can immediately poll the master directory database for the manipulated data upon receipt of an event notification from the event client server. For an event client server having directory clients in electrical communication with the replicate directory database, the event master server provides an event message to an event service server in response to the data manipulation of the master directory database by the directory service provider server. The event message includes the event notification and the sequence number, and the event service server provides the event notification to the event client server upon a replication of the sequence number within the replicate directory database. The replicate directory clients can poll the replicate directory database for the manipulated data upon receipt of the event notification from the event client server.

摘要: The invention is a distributed implantable neuro-stimulation system, comprising an implant controller including control logic to transmit two time-varying power signals, varying between two levels and out of phase with the other, and a command signal modulated onto at least one of the power signals. One or more electrode cells, each having control logic to extract charge from the power signals and recover commands from the command signal. A two-wire bus interconnecting the implant controller and all the electrode cells, to carry one of the time varying signals in each of the two wires, and to carry the command signal.

摘要: A nail clipper apparatus including a nail clipper and a pair of elongated gripping members attachable to each other with a spring loaded hinge. A bottom end of each of a pair of tension rods is mounted to an upper arm of an actuating lever of the nail clipper, and a top end of each of the pair of tension rods is attached to a bottom surface of a lower gripping member of the pair of gripping members. A top side of a push rod is attached to an upper gripping member of the pair of gripping members, and a bottom side of the push rod is slidably disposed atop the upper arm of the actuating lever. Each of an open position and a closed position of the pair of gripping members coincides with an open position and a closed position of the nail clipper.

摘要: Disclosed is a processor-implemented method for processing image data using an image processing apparatus. The processor is configured to receive a PDL file of image data and raster image process (RIP) the PDL file to determine at least pixels representing text of a predetermined colorant. The ripped file is then segmented to determine at least any text pixels of the predetermined colorant not initially indicated by the ripped file. The results are combined to determine text pixels of the predetermined colorant for marking onto a substrate using marking material (e.g., ink). In some instances, pixels of the predetermined colorant can be tagged during segmenting using a tag plane to determine text pixels for marking by the output device.

摘要: A control console to remotely control medical equipment is disclosed having a base with an ergonomically adjustable pedal system. The base further has an opening to receive the pedal system. The pedal system includes a moveable pedal tray with a pedal base. The tray includes a first left pedal assembly and a first right pedal assembly, and an upper tier having a second left pedal assembly and a second right pedal assembly respectively in alignment with and elevated above the first left pedal assembly and the first right pedal assembly. Rollers are rotatable coupled to the moveable pedal tray to allow it roll over a floor. A drive assembly is coupled between the moveable pedal tray and the base. The drive assembly applies a force to the to roll the moveable pedal tray over the floor within the opening of the base.

摘要: An non-skid coating comprising a two-part epoxy and a filler comprising particles of a thermoset resin provides a durable, low-weight, low-abrasive coating for decks and floors, especially for aircraft carrier flight decks. The coating has the further advantage of having lower heavy metal content than current aluminum-based, non-skid coatings.

摘要: A method for a minimally invasive surgical system is disclosed including capturing camera images of a surgical site; generating a graphical user interface (GUI) including a first colored border portion in a first side and a second colored border in a second side opposite the first side; and overlaying the GUI onto the captured camera images of the surgical site for display on a display device of a surgeon console. The GUI provides information to a user regarding the first electrosurgical tool and the second tool in the surgical site that is concurrently displayed by the captured camera images. The first colored border portion in the GUI indicates that the first electrosurgical tool is controlled by a first master grip of the surgeon console and the second colored border portion indicates the tool type of the second tool controlled by a second master grip of the surgeon console.
