    摘要: A crosslinked object of a polybenzoxazine-based compound formed of a polymerized resultant of a first monofunctional benzoxazine-based monomer or a second multifunctional benzoxazine-based monomer with a crosslinkable compound, an electrolyte membrane including the crosslinked object, a method of preparing the electrolyte membrane, and a fuel cell employing the electrolyte membrane including the crosslinked object. The crosslinked object has a strong acid trapping capability with respect to the benzoxazine-based compound and high mechanical properties due to the crosslinking. The crosslinked object is very stable chemically because of elimination of solubility in polyphosphoric acid. The electrolyte membrane including the crosslinked object has excellent phosphoric acid supplementing capacity at a high temperature and mechanical and chemical stability. Specifically, even when an impregnated amount of a proton carrier, such as phosphoric acid, is increased to increase proton conductivity, the electrolyte membrane maintains excellent mechanical and chemical stability. Accordingly, the electrolyte membrane can be used in a fuel cell for high temperature and no humidity.

    摘要: A metal catalyst including a conductive catalyst material and a coating layer formed of a water repellent material on the conductive catalyst material, an electrode including the metal catalyst, and a fuel cell employing the electrode. By forming the coating layer, having a water repellent material, on the conductive catalyst material, the metal catalyst does not sink in the liquid electrolyte, the distribution and movement of the liquid electrolyte around the metal catalyst can be controlled, and the thickness of the interface between the metal catalyst and the liquid electrolyte can be regulated. Accordingly, an ideal electrode structure having triple phase boundary for electrochemical reaction can be formed. A fuel cell employing an electrode including the metal catalyst has excellent efficiency and overall performance.

    摘要: Crosslinked polybenzoxazines obtained by crosslinking a monofunctional first benzoxazine monomer and a multifunctional second benzoxazine monomer with a crosslinkable compound, an electrolyte membrane including the same, a method of preparing the electrolyte membrane, a fuel cell including the electrolyte membrane having the crosslinked polybenzoxazines using the method. The crosslinked polybenzoxazines have strong acid trapping capability, improved mechanical properties, and excellent chemical stability as it does not melt in polyphosphoric acid. Even as the amount of impregnated proton carrier and the temperature are increased, mechanical and chemical stability is highly maintained, and thus the electrolyte membrane can be effectively used for fuel cells at a high temperature.
